Episode 16 : Misty Village
After learning that Miaoxie had been taken to a village called Tianyan Chun, Qiuyi took the two Bei Shuang Yue girls there to retrieve her from Liao Chunhai. Gu Qiongnan refused to be left behind, even though he was in an injured state.
Arriving at Tianyan Chun, Qiuyi left Gu Qiongnan alone in the barn. Gu Qiongnan accidentally spotted Xi Junhao there, along with Miaoxie and Xiaofeng. He also saw a woman in pearly white with amnesia, who addressed Miaoxie as her daughter. Xi Junhao told the woman that she is his wife.
Qiuyi and the two Bei Shuang Yue girls lost track of Miaoxie and Xi Junhao and the girls. As they were about to make their way to a nearby monastery, Gu Qiongnan revealed that Miaoxie was Xi Junhao's daughter and had been taken to Qingxiang Gu.
Upon returning to the ship, they reunited with Huan Tiezhong, who explained more about Xi Junhao's origins and reputation.
Episode 17 : Shipwreck Bandits
Wang Tieqin, the leader of the Yinhe Bang, brought his son Wang Shaoqi on a borrowed boat and joined forces with Wu Xiuhai and Li Shunye, along with dozens of members of the Leiyun Zhuang, to capture a dangerous group of river pirates known as the Chenchuan Yao, or shipwreck bandits. The battle that took place on the long river was fierce.
Relying on her keen hearing, Qiuyi helped locate the pirate leader. Her false identity as Lady Liu aroused the suspicions of Wang Tieqin and the others.
Qin Diaoshan, originally held hostage by the bandit leader, was rescued.
Gu Qiongnan received an invitation to go to Huanggang City and meet an important figure of the martial world there. That figure was none other than Meng Zuochan, the owner of the Dayue Mansion. He informed her that a martial gathering would soon be held to select someone to lead the martial heroes to assist an imperial family member in risky negotiations with neighboring countries.
Gu Qiongnan and Qiuyi went to see Zhu Yongtian, an outsider believed to have mastered some of the Baiyu Shan martial techniques, hoping to find clues to Molian Yuxiao's true identity.
Episode 18 : Black Shadow Blade
Zhu Yongtian was also invited to attend the gathering at Dayue Mansion, but he declined due to his feud with his brother, Zhu Zhenming.
Two older figures, titled Heiying Shuang Dao, supported Leiyun Zhuang and Dayue Mansion. They taught Gu Qiongnan some of their blade fighting techniques in a unique way.
Also present in this episode was Zhao Yu, a prince and brother of the emperor, who was also Gu Qiongnan's childhood friend. He was the mastermind behind the gathering at Dayue Mansion. This young prince was attracted to Qiuyi.
News of the massacre at Tianyan Chun made Gu Qiongnan anxious about accusations against Qiuyi, who had the motive, ability, and opportunity to carry it out.
Hanqin fled the ship upon hearing that Guo Shenzhao was injured. Shen Feng Dizhi attempted to pursue and bring her back.
Episode 19 : Gathering At Dayue Mansion
Liao Chunhai brought his first disciple, Jia Wufeng, to the gathering at Dayue Mansion without an invitation, deliberately requesting a seat of honor to attract the attention of the martial arts world's leaders. The purpose of is visit was simply to tarnish the reputation of Dayue Mansion, hence raising chaos in the martial world.
The election of the new leader of the martial world began. Dayue Mansion was represented by Meng Zuochan's eldest son, Meng Qiang. Leiyun Zhuang also participated, but was forced to concede defeat when Jia Wufeng entered the contest.
This situation led the martial world to place high hopes on Gu Qiongnan, a young figure with outstanding abilities.
Episode 20 : The Young Man of Misty Village
Although Qiuyi didn't want Gu Qiongnan to participate in the competition at Dayue Mansion, she was still willing to help. Qiuyi also asked Shen Feng Di Zhi to retrieve Gu Qiongnan's beloved horse, which he had left behind on Baiyu Shan more than half a year earlier.
Huan Tiezhong secretly attended the meeting at Dayue Mansion, avoiding meeting his disciples and old friends.
The animosity between the two sons of the Zhu family, Zhu Yuanhan and Zhu Yuanlang, and their girls, Li Yujie and Chen Cailing, was evident as they participated in the widely watched competition.
Guan Zhenhao, a naive young man claiming to be from Misty Village, entered the competition to demand justice for the villagers who had been massacred overnight by a mysterious woman. To clear the accusations against Qiuyi, Gu Qiongnan confronted the village youth.
