In the hospital room, Mabel Quinn looked at her friend lying in the hospital bed, filled with guilt.
"Mabel, it's my own emotional instability, it's not your fault," Alice Conley said, understanding what her friend was thinking.
"From now on, you must remember not to let your emotions get too intense. Fortunately, the fetus is relatively stable," the doctor said.
Then, Dorian Howards and Alice's father and mother also arrived at the hospital.
"Alice, are you okay?" Dorian Howards asked, his face full of worry.
"I'm fine, it's just Mabel making a fuss. She saw I was a bit uncomfortable and brought me straight to the hospital," Alice Conley tried to downplay the situation and then said to her mother, "Mom, the doctor wants me to stay overnight here for observation. Could you help me get some change of clothes from home? I'm afraid Dorian and Dad might get it wrong, and also, could you make some porridge for me? I'd like to have some porridge tonight."
