Once again carrying bags big and small, Dorian Howards got on the escalator, but he didn't see Alice Conley on the next floor.
Where did she go? If she was shopping, it couldn't possibly be that quick to finish a whole floor, which means she probably just passed through this level and went up to the next one?
With this thought, Dorian quickly got on the escalator again. It wasn't until the restaurant area on the top floor that he saw her figure.
She was sitting in front of a dessert shop, had ordered a dessert, but kept glancing at her phone and looking around.
He quickly turned to the side to avoid her gaze, wondering if she was waiting for someone. Could it be the tall, skinny guy he had seen twice before, who looked like a big boy?
Dorian was full of doubt until he saw a man in a suit walking towards Alice Conley.
"You must be Alice Conley." The man walked up to her and said, his cold face warmed by a slight smile.
