His body stilled for a moment, then those dark, phoenix eyes fixed on her. "So what if we've broken up?"
"You—" she glared at him, momentarily at a loss for his behavior. "Stop messing around, will you!"
He let out a mocking laugh. "What, you think I'm just messing around?"
She pressed her lips together and continued to glare at him. "You... you're not drunk at all. You're not intoxicated."
"Yeah, I'm not drunk." He smiled, a dazzling smile laced with deep mockery. At this moment, he wasn't in the pain of the Full Moon, but why did he still feel so miserable, so much so that even breathing hurt?
