"Nothing!" Alice quickly replied, but her gaze remained fixed on Gemma, "Is the qualification between people really determined by money and status? If that's the kind of qualification, then I don't want it."
After saying this, she finally turned her head to look at Dorian, "If I marry you without any additional value, just as I am, would you still want to marry me?"
"Yes!" he answered with a decisive certainty.
Alice smiled, but Gemma's face grew increasingly grim.
Alice turned again to look at Gemma, "You see, if I want your son, then nothing can tear us apart." But in her heart, she silently added: If she doesn't want him, then her son will become free again, and one day, he will meet someone else, fall in love, get married, have children, and live a happy life.
