"It's nothing," Kyle Kinston said faintly, lifting his foot again and walking forward.
It wasn't until the group entered a private room next door that Daniel Harris whispered, "They're already in the room." Mabel Quinn let out a long breath, stepping out from behind Daniel Harris.
"Are you avoiding Kyle?" Daniel Harris asked.
Mabel Quinn bit her lip slightly, "Meeting would be awkward for everyone, so this might be a better way. Thanks earlier."
He grabbed her arm, stopping her from leaving. "Mabel, have you really let go of Kyle?"
"That's my private business." She tried to pull her arm back, but he didn't let go; instead, he moved closer to her and said, "Since you and he have already broken up, don't think about him anymore, and don't care about him anymore, okay? Give me a chance, a chance to properly protect you."
