Evelina's face immediately changed, and she threatened viciously, "If you don't give me money, then I'll just say whatever I want online. You and Kyle Kinston are in a relationship now. If I reveal something, he'll be implicated too, right? He's a CEO; it wouldn't be good for his reputation to be damaged."
Mabel Quinn found it laughable. Did her mother really think that a few random disparaging remarks online could affect Kyle? Was her mother underestimating Kyle? Or was she just too self-important?
"I won't give you money. As for those threats you've mentioned, you can go ahead and try." Mabel said coldly, "But I must tell you, these days, making false accusations can get you charged with slander!"
After saying this, Mabel unhesitatingly pried Evelina's hand away and walked toward the Kinston Family's private car that had brought her there.
