Kyle Kinston was indeed obediently lying in bed, so Mabel Quinn first wiped Kyle's face and then unbuttoned his pajamas to wipe the sweat from his body. As expected, he had sweated quite a lot, even his pajamas were soaked. She went ahead and fetched a clean set of pajamas from his wardrobe, planning to change him into them later.
Throughout the process of wiping his sweat, his eyes were fixed on her, but unlike usual, they didn't exert any invisible pressure on her. Instead, they seemed merely curious.
After everything was done, she too was drenched in sweat from the effort.
"You're so nice, Sis," he said with a smile.
"It's nothing, it's nothing," she couldn't help but reach out to rub his head.
After rubbing for a few seconds, she suddenly realized and swiftly stopped her hand. Oh god, what was she thinking! Was Kyle Kinston's head something she could just casually rub?
