"How could that be? You're so outstanding, who would be willing to break up with you?" Beatrice Hargrave gasped in disbelief. Nicholas Croft put down his napkin and chuckled self-deprecatingly, "But she just doesn't want me anymore,"
"You must have made her sad!" Beatrice mumbled, then continued to bury herself in her food, her lowered eyes hiding her emotions.
Looking at this girl who looked so much like Sophie Foster yet had a completely different personality, Nicholas Croft's eyes drifted again. He took a sip of water and asked subconsciously, "Have you been studying abroad all this time?"
"Yeah," Beatrice looked up, nodded, and asked with some confusion, "What's up?"
"Nothing." Nicholas Croft smiled faintly, put down the water glass, and picked up the chopsticks again to help Beatrice with some food, "Eat more, you're too skinny."
Beatrice looked down at herself, "My figure looks better on camera this way."
"Want to act?" Nicholas seized the opportunity to probe.
