Beatrice said after her father, looking across at Nicholas for his opinion, "Handsome Uncle, do you think I should call you brother or uncle?"
The innocent face before him overlapped with the heavily made-up face in his memory; the first time he met Sophie Foster, she called him "Handsome Uncle." Nicholas faintly curved the corner of his lips and said, "Better call me uncle. At my age, being your uncle is perfectly reasonable."
As soon as Nicholas finished speaking, Beatrice immediately sneered and muttered disdainfully, "Looks so old, yet the mindset is so trendy. Still calling yourself uncle? It's hilarious."
"Beatrice, don't be rude!" Henry disapproved, frowning and reprimanding her, as Beatrice stuck out her tongue and made a face.
Josephine, waiting at the door, also walked over with a smile, "Why are you still chatting away at the door? Come in already."
