Felix Shaw returned in less than a week, and as soon as he stepped in the door, he called out, "Honey, I'm back. Did you miss me?"
Through phone calls before coming back home, Felix Shaw knew he was coming home today, while Mia Foster was busy in the kitchen.
Hearing the hum of the exhaust fan coming from the kitchen, Felix Shaw put down his suitcase and walked into the kitchen. Mia Foster stood by the stove, stir-frying something, her silhouette exuding a sense of beauty and warmth.
He walked over and hugged Mia Foster from behind, kissed her earlobe, and said softly, "Honey, I'm back. Did you miss me?"
Rarely, Mia Foster didn't quarrel with him as she usually did, glanced at him, and said, "Go take a shower, dinner will be ready soon."
"Honey, you're so good,"
Felix Shaw pecked Mia Foster's lips, tightened his arms around her waist reluctantly before letting go and heading towards the kitchen door.
