Before Elizabeth White could finish her melodramatic speech, Felix Shaw interrupted her with an impatient sigh, "Lizzie, things are not what you think, there have been some issues at home lately... so..."
"I don't care, sob... Felix... I don't care what happened at home, all I know is, you don't want me anymore, you married another woman... you will never come to see me again..." Elizabeth sobbed and cut off Felix's explanation. Her voice through the phone was full of grievance and helplessness, softening anyone who heard it.
Felix, feeling agitated, scratched his head and said impatiently, "Alright, stop crying, I'll come over to see you after this period!"
"Really? Felix, are you not lying to me?" Elizabeth stopped crying, but her voice was still filled with sullen grievances that made one feel sympathy.
