Melody Zachary looked up in a daze at her son across from her, and the chopsticks in her hand fell onto the dining table.
"Felix, did you see that woman? Is your dad with her?"
"Mom, no, I was just assuming," Felix Shaw said with slight helplessness, not expecting his mother to be so anxious. It was already difficult for him knowing his father had a woman outside, let alone his mother, who had spent half her life with his father.
"No, you must have seen her, you are my son, I know!" Melody shook her head in disbelief, then stood up to grab her son's hand and asked nervously, "Felix, tell mom, have you seen that woman? What did your dad say? Does he want to divorce me and be with that woman?"
"Mom, there's no such thing." Felix put down the chopsticks in his hand and gently held his mother's hand, soothing her with a good temper, "I'm just assuming, I really didn't see, besides, dad is at such an age, how could he still be looking for a woman."
