After leaving the rejection base, Negi felt incredibly unsatisfied. As all Saiyan do, she felt the thirst for battle calling to her. It's varied from person to person, but for a sadistic type like her, beating on someone weaker fulfilled her. The immense elation from building up one confidence or instilling rage, only to drive them into despair was truly what she lived for.
She had flown in the opposite direction of the Capital. The military institutions and bases usually housed some of the strongest warriors the planet has to offer.
Low-class warriors made up the section furthest from the capital. The rejection base sat in the space between the capital and the lower military institutions. Since this world was dedicated to creating weapons of war, their warriors, it would only make sense that aside from the residencies there were mostly farms, factories, and military bases that made up the majority of the land. Again the non combative work, taken by the aliens who worked under the Freiza empire's contract.
In the conglomeration of residencies and military bases, there were a few distinct cities. Negi had made her way to one she had gone to several times in the past when her duties ran dry. As an elite warrior working under king Vegeta she was fairly well known.
Kusatta city, the polar opposite of Jukushita city, better known as Vegeta city. Vegeta city is essentially the capital of the planet where all the strongest forces reside, whereas Kusatta held the bottom of the barrel. To clarify, The rejection base isn't even in the barrel of this analogy.
As the adult woman landed on the launching pad and approached the entrance to the base the guards would wearily stand at attention.
"Elite warrior Negi, welcome!" They would announce her presence. Four men and women lined up beside her as she b-lined to the recreation hall.
Not that the base was a maze, but she took a series of turns that looked confusing to an inexperienced eye. Of course the recreational hall is at the furthest place in the building. Much like any other base on this planet. Most warriors were on duty.
While making her way down the hall, her long muscular legs carried the woman towards the destination at the forefront of her mind. A terminal that held the information for duel requests. Those warriors seek battles in their down time in between missions.
Once she arrived the search was rather quick. At her level she hadn't even thought twice before picking a name off the list and using her scouter to send a transmission to the listed number. Each low class and above ranked warrior were given a personal number that would be registered in each of any scouter they received. Destruction of scouters came out of the owners paycheck, but upon receiving a new one, they would find their original number following them onto the new tech.
All she could do now was wait at the designated spot, which was outside the base as she repositioned herself at the edge of the launching pad. The person whose request she accepted was a twenty something male by the name Yasai. There was only a portrait photo, but he was said to be a few inches taller than her.
Negi was about Five foot three inches in height. Her hair stopped just above her shoulders. A musculature that proves she was a warrior at just a glance and still feminine too. Though like most females of the saiyan race, her bust line was extraordinarily modest. The armor was mostly uniform across every member of the race with a few variations. She opted for no bodysuit or shoulder pads. The lack of armor was for a reason.
Eventually an approaching black dot in the sky became a notable figure. She scanned its power level and within just a short moment Negi understood this was her duel partner. Meeting him halfway in the air they faced each other.
The muscular saiyan man Yasai had a very generic low-class warrior hair style. Several Tufts of spiky hair jutting out to the right side. His expression though daunted was enraptured by excitement as he was given the chance to fight an elite warrior.
"Cocky aren't you, I can tell by the look on your face. Instead of pissing your pants you think you got a shot" Negi says while spreading her arms out to exaggerate the provocative.
The man had his arms crossed now face to face with the strongest person to challenge him to a duel in this city. Little did Negi know that she had challenged the uncrowned champion of this base.
"I'll save the pissing for later. But I can't say I'm not shocked. To think an elite warrior would be my first opponent after returning from my long winded mission." Yasai is unable to remove that grin off his face as he responds.
"Oho, so you actually conquered a planet. A low class child like you"
"Heh, planets actually, but who's counting. But that's not important. How about we make this duel of ours interesting?"
Negi raised an eyebrow, but she didn't indicate that she wouldn't listen.
"Let's leave the scouters behind and fight without them"
"Haha, you know what, that doesn't sound half bad. That why when you glance my power level you won't give up halfway." She says with confidence overflowing in her tone of voice. In fact she takes off her scouter and tosses it to him. " Your idea you leave our scouters for safekeeping back at the base"
The man catches her scouter with ease before obliging her demand.
As he flies down he cackles a bit to himself noting that her power level isn't that much higher than his. It's a well known fact that those who have a modicum of control over their energy can increase their power by several stages. Yasai believed that Negi must be impressive in her released state, but he believes that he would trounce hers with this chance.
When he returned they would choose a rocky pink plateau like clearing to conduct this duel.

Yasai and Negi had settled on the ground. Surrounded by several rocky mounds. Facing each other about a yard away.
With the wind blowing there was no indication of this duel. Instead the ground cracked as the challenger dashed in.
Yasai charged in, cocking his fist back before planning to plant it firmly in the chest of his superior. Going for the heart first.
A gust of wind whipped up as the fist was caught by Negi's left hand. With a loud clapping sound the duel had officially begun.
"Not bad," Negi mocked while thrusting her free fist into Yasai's cheek.
He raised his left arm to block the attack with his wrist. Noting the lack of bite from the attack. His confidence in this fight had started to find its foundation.
Twisting his body he shot his left leg into her abdomen which pushed her back a few feet. Yasai was not done as he used aerial maneuverability to find leverage where it did not exist. Launching his body forward he went in for an above one two jab straight combo. Both attacks aimed directly for the woman's head.
The quick jab was batted away while his straight was blocked. Next thing he knew a knee came crashing into his chin. They both flew up at this moment, Negi to follow through with her knee strike and Yasai to mitigate the damage.
Flipping back haphazardly, Yasai found his balance mid air vertically once again. What he saw was the woman blowing on her nails casually.
"Oh..done playing around?" She mocked.
"Grrr" Yasai growled before launching himself at her again.
His one two combo became four consecutive attacks ending in an aerial roundhouse kick. Two jabs batted away with ease and then two alternating haymakers that she casually blocked. The kick was then blocked but it sent her flying back to the ground.
Sliding against the harsh ground she was on all fours lifting her head to see a meteor, no, a foot come crashing down.
Yasai did not waste any time pressing his advantage as he stomped the rocky surface into a million rocks. Creating a small crater in the wake of his attack. It was Negi's turn to backflip out of the way and she did it with much more grace on the ground.
Lunging forward Yasai through what could only be now described as a flurry of strikes. Four towards her heart, Four towards her arms, and the rest towards her head. All alternating back and forth up and down at such immense speed as he started to really put effort into them.
Negi's face contorted as only some of the strikes hit their mark, but they did nonetheless. She parried the direct strikes to her heart, took the ones aimed at her arms on the shoulder, snuffing them out, and weaved her head through the most dangerous attacks. Until one of them hit her squarely on the cheek.
Yasai couldn't let up at this point. His last attack that landed was a right hook and now clenching his left fist. He accidentally used his core muscles to their fullest in a left uppercut that smashed Negi high up into the air. Crushing the ground below his feet and kicking up dust from the ground in the process.
"Rrrreahh!" He roared bringing his fist down before kicking off the ground for as much momentum as he could muster.
Yasai met her position in the air as fast as he could before proceeding to actively pummel her with strikes and kicks. Ending his assault with a double handed hammer strike from above.
The final attack sent her hurtling to the ground for an explosive landing that kicked up a ton of debris creating an obscuring dust cloud.
Breathing somewhat heavily, Yasai landed confidently on the ground. It did not take long for him to catch his breath as he waited for the dust to settle.
("Have i won?") He couldn't verbalize otherwise the jinx would become real.
What he saw was not a crumpled bleeding heap of a silhouette, but one that stood there creating a terribly foreboding image in his mind.

This whole fight Negi's attention had been firmly on Yasai's expression as it slowly became more and more confident. As he slowly gained advantage and Successfully landed hits on her. She had to hold it in, Negi could not laugh just yet.
It was when he landed that devastating series of attacks that made her decide this was the moment.
When the dust settled she was nonchalantly dusting some of the debris off her armor. Not a single scratch on her.
("There it is..oh..f*ck i love it when they are so shocked. Where's that bravado..") She thought sadistically while watching the man's confidence come crashing down. Negi Couldn't help but start to laugh.
"Hehehe...hahaha" she was cackling now while he began to charge her full speed.
Yasai prepared to hit her with that combination that worked so well a moment ago.
Negi in the midst of her laughter not only dodged the initial attack, but also she batted away his follow up. To her surprise he was forceful as he raged on with his attacks anyway.
"Dumb.." she mutters in response to his carelessness. Dodging each and every attack that came her way until the uppercut came once again.
With one step back the visceral strike wholly missed its mark. Before he could even reset his position due to the full effort of his attack, Negi had returned and struck him with a kick to the side.
Yasai stumbles, feeling the hit rock his head. Unlike him, Negi didn't need to press her advantage. To her, she had never lost the advantage to begin with.
"How!?" He roared at her while holding the side of his face.
"How..? Are you being for real? You asked to be blind in this fight. Now down whine about it" she responded with dead seriousness.
("I'm so glad that i picked up that weak race's ability to suppress my energy") She thanked her luck and talent inwardly.
His flinches at her gaze only to clench his fists at his sides. The ground started to shake and rocks floated as an aura began to emit from his body.
"You're going to lose....raaaaaah" he forwent any banter as his energy began to reach its max.
His body disappeared in the next moment. The ground cracked and debris was kicked up from where he started. In the next moment he was thrusting his fingers towards her throat only to give up on that notion a second later. His spear hand curled into a fist and aimed at her chin.
Negi had released just enough of her aura to intercept his attack. Mostly because she had to have enough energy to boost her strength to trounce his efforts and due to her inability to release it fast enough.
Grabbing his wrist she twisted it and broke it immediately with a sickening crunch.
"Eeahhh" Yasai groaned out in pain before launching another attack in retaliation.
He tries to chop at her neck with his other hand only to be launched by her fist crashing into his head. In two attacks Yasai was defeated and logged into a rocky wall.
A moment later Negi had flown to his spot on the wall where he was stuck and chuckled at his state. He had coughed up what had to be a cup's worth of blood, it was the only way he was conscious.
"Let me guess...you fought one of those artorias weaklings. Maybe a whole squad. They do like pretending their fingers are like swords or whatever. Well I've seen that trick plenty when i conquered their planet Avalon"
As she went on a faint voice could be heard calling to her in the distance.
"Elite warrior Negi! The King has requested your presence!" A short saiyan woman approached, announcing urgent matters.
"Alright alright...you can leave"
"Here" the woman hands Negi a scouter Before leaving.
("This is gonna be awful, I just know it") She thought before looking at Yasai. An idea popped into her head.
"Hey, go get yourself a pod and later i better see you at my residence later" she demanded while licking her lips. Negi planned on using him to get over her impending frustrations.
Negi then flew off to go meet her king
