RIAN'S POV
"Oh god, we need to inform the Chief and Vice Chief of this now!" Letizia said. She scent one of the wolves to rush for the border and tell Cairn and Maxus.
I thought of what had led Angelo to leave the village and venture out there. Angelo had been arguing with that boy, Daniel, about him being weak and unable to hunt, did he actually run away with the scent masking ointment to attempt to hunt by himself? There was no way…but the more I thought about it seemed like it was the most likely reason.
I had to find him now.
It couldn't have been too long since he left the village. How far could he have gotten? Surely, he hadn't reached the border yet I hoped. If he was still in the village, they villagers searching would soon find him but if he had left, then time was of the essence.
