Chapter 165 - Chapter 165

"Jean! What on earth is this? Where did you get it?" Lisa suddenly looked at Jean with a serious expression and asked, "Tell me honestly! Don't lie to me."

The value of such an item makes even demons go red with envy, so how could Jean possibly possess it?

Realizing that Jean had just met with Akio, Lisa's expression changed as she said, "Did Lord Akio give this to you?"

"Yes, he did." Jean nodded. Why was Lisa so worked up? She hadn't planned to hide it anyway!

"Jean! Did Lord Akio... do something to you?" Lisa asked anxiously, "Or did you... sell yourself to him?"

Lisa knew Jean was concerned about her, but she was even more afraid that Jean might do something foolish. If Jean had compromised herself because of Lisa, Lisa would never forgive herself for the rest of her life.

"Oh... Lisa, calm down first." Jean tried to soothe Lisa's emotions and led her to sit down on the sofa.

"Lisa, it's true that I've established a relationship with Lord Akio, but don't jump to conclusions!" Jean explained, seeing Lisa's agitation, she quickly added.

"I did it voluntarily! Don't worry about it." Jean said earnestly.

"Huh?" Lisa was stunned, she looked at Jean and asked, "You... did it voluntarily?"

"Yes." Jean nodded naturally and said, "When I went to see Lord Akio, initially, it was about your situation. I originally planned to ask him to heal you."

Jean recounted their conversation to Lisa and said, "And that's how it happened. Lord Akio healed you, and I ended up being with him. I genuinely wanted to give it a try with him."

"So that's how it was." Lisa nodded, it seemed Jean was experiencing her first love.

However, Lisa still handed the white crystal in her hand to Jean.

"Hmm?" Jean looked at Lisa, puzzled.

"This is something you exchanged for me. I'm healed now, and since it's so precious, you should keep it, Jean." Lisa shook her head.

"..." Jean didn't take it and instead said, "Lisa, you're not Lord Akio's lover yet, but he still gave this to you. Do you really think I don't have one?"

"Uhh..." Lisa was taken aback. Could something this precious really be mass-produced?

"What's extremely valuable to us is nothing more than a trivial matter in Lord Akio's eyes." Jean smiled, and a Life Source appeared in her hand.

"..." Lisa silently nodded. It seemed Lord Akio's status had already surpassed the Seven Archons, reaching an even higher level.

After all, something like the Life Source would make even the Seven Archons' hearts race.

"Don't worry, Lisa, you're not going anywhere." Jean stood up, stretched, and said with a smile before walking back to her room.

"???" Lisa was stunned and quickly asked, "Jean, what do you mean by that?"

"You know what I mean. Think about it yourself." Jean's voice came from inside the room, "I'm going to take a nap at noon!"

"..." Lisa sat on the sofa, tightly clutching the white crystal, her thoughts drifting far away, her mind filled with images of Akio.

"Lord Akio..."

The air echoed with Lisa's soft murmurs.

At Tenshukaku, Furina and Clorinde sat nervously in the center, surrounded by Raiden Makoto and the others.

Furina's heart was racing. Although she was usually quite sociable, even the most outgoing person would feel overwhelmed in such a situation and with such company.

Clorinde was equally stunned. Surrounding them were not ordinary humans—three deities and two great Inazuman youkai.

"Himeko, you said she's the current Hydro Archon of Fontaine?" Raiden Makoto asked softly, "When I passed away, the Hydro Archon of Fontaine was still Egeria."

"Who would have thought that even the Hydro Archon has fallen victim to disaster?" Raiden Makoto sighed.

"Makoto, among the original Seven Archons, only Rex Lapis and Barbatos remain." Yae Miko sighed as well.

"To think it's come to this..." Raiden Makoto sighed, reminiscing about the days when all Seven Archons gathered together. The faces of her old friends were still vivid in her memory, but alas, they were now gone.

"You are Inazuma's first Raiden Shogun, Raiden Makoto?" Furina looked at Raiden Makoto in disbelief and shook her head, "But... Egeria once said that the Electro Archon perished during the Khaenri'ah war?"

"I did indeed die once." Raiden Makoto nodded, "Fortunately, Akio pulled me back from death, allowing me to witness my nation once more."

"Akio... has the ability to resurrect deities?" Furina was stunned, she muttered in disbelief. If that were the case, then Egeria...

Clorinde, who was listening nearby, felt her worldview being shattered once again. What had she just heard? Resurrecting deities? Such a thing was beyond comprehension, something even gods couldn't achieve. Was it really possible?

Not long after, a figure entered Tenshukaku.

"Huh? What are you all talking about? Why do you all look so gloomy?" Akio's voice rang out as he walked over, noticing the strange atmosphere.

"Akio!" Raiden Makoto stood up and smiled, "It's nothing, we were just discussing the previous Hydro Archon with Furina."

"The previous Hydro Archon? Egeria?" Akio thought for a moment and asked.

"Yes." Raiden Makoto nodded and sighed, "Miko told me that among the original Seven Archons, including myself, five have already passed away."

"I never thought that even deities could not escape the judgment of death." Raiden Makoto said, looking at Akio with warmth in her eyes, "Thank you, Akio, for allowing me to see my nation again, to see the sunlight and my people once more."

"It's nothing." Akio shook his head, "Your passing was the greatest regret for Ei, for Miko, for Saiguu, and for Inazuma. I won't let such a regret happen again."

"Mhm." Raiden Makoto gently kissed Akio on the cheek.

"Akio..." Furina's voice sounded from the side.

"Hmm?" Akio turned to look at Furina, who seemed troubled. She looked at him and asked, "Can you resurrect Egeria?"

"Do you know where she died? Or where her consciousness might still linger?" Akio asked.

"I... don't know." Furina shook her head.

"Then there's nothing I can do. Without any leads, I can't just conjure up an Egeria out of thin air." Akio shook his head.

"...I see." Furina sighed, her hope dwindling. She had endured so much pain for Fontaine...
