Chapter 304 - Chapter 308 – She’s the True Victor

After nearly half a month of what could only be described as brotherly feeding play...

Wapol, who was once like a gluttonous beast that only took in and never let anything out, had finally mastered the incredibly practical power of the Munch-Munch Factory.

He now showed impressive potential as a mobile waste processing plant.

Using what he consumed, he could synthesize new items—then mold them into shapes he found aesthetically pleasing.

The steel-pink pirate bunny with two massive claws in front of them...

Was Wapol's latest creation.

Doflamingo had tested it by trying to crush its metallic arms, but the rabbit simply reformed itself bit by bit.

Whether this was truly a "Wapometal" from the future, capable of hosting two types of Devil Fruit powers, was something Judge would have to research himself.

"Hm? This texture..."

Judge's eyes lit up as he ran his hands over every inch of the pirate bunny's steel body.

To an outsider, he looked like some greasy, middle-aged pervert with a metal fetish.

In truth, this was just the way Judge examined materials—he'd already dismantled his lab coat into scraps for testing. Now, just by touch alone, he could tell...

The material of this ugly toy felt very similar to what he used to make battle suits.

"Let's see what you're really made of!"

Judge excitedly hoisted the pirate bunny and rushed off toward the lab.

He had a hunch—this thing had something in common with the alloy brought back from Egghead.

"So impatient," Doflamingo muttered as he casually flicked his fingers.

A mountain of toy-like items stacked behind him collapsed to the side.

These were all Wapol's overtime creations, his factory's current inventory.

"Boss, if there's nothing else, I'm gonna go find Bullet for a little sparring!"

Enel stood on the ship's edge, visibly itching for a fight.

He wanted to test how far he'd come.

...

What could Doflamingo say? He wasn't about to stop Enel from seeking... growth.

So he simply waved him off. "Go."

"See you later, Boss!" Enel shot into the sky like a thunderbolt.

Mushiru, still stunned by the awe of Skypiea's scenery, finally snapped out of it as thunder exploded in the distance.

Dragging his brother—pet—garbage disposal unit—Wapol—behind him, he walked forward.

Just as he was about to speak, a few figures floated down from above.

Mushiru grumbled internally.

"Is flying standard for everyone in the Donquixote Family?!"

"Boss! Doffy!"

Trebol, Baccarat, and Smoothie all landed in unison.

Doflamingo pointed toward a group of visibly nervous doctors standing behind him and said,

"Trebol, take these doctors to the medical division. Also, these two—crown princes of the Drum Kingdom—give them a plot of land on Tenryu Island. Let them handle the construction waste."

After observing them on the journey here, Doflamingo had given up on the idea of feeding Wapol slop water.

After all, it didn't contain metal—completely useless to him.

And rare creatures like him were hard to cultivate again once dead.

"Got it, Doffy! Oh, oh! I've got a surprise for you, hehe~!"

Trebol scooted over eagerly.

"I already know what it is."

Doflamingo's eyes swept across Baccarat's stomach, still flat, but faintly holding a spark of life within.

After five years... he was about to have a second child.

He had previously undergone sperm testing with Judge and Caesar and was told his body had essentially become reproductively incompatible with regular humans.

He'd assumed future heirs would have to come from cloning.

What surprised him more was how close Smoothie and Baccarat had become.

Smoothie was now looking at Baccarat—and her belly—with gentle concern.

Given their difference in height, they looked exactly like a young stepmother watching over her pregnant daughter.

Doflamingo narrowed his eyes slightly and asked,

"Baccarat, after our last time together, you used your ability, didn't you?"

"Yes, Boss," Baccarat replied, glancing nervously at Smoothie, thinking Doflamingo was going to scold her for using up luck.

"I wanted to have a child with you!"

"Don't be nervous. This is a good thing."

With a flick of thought, Doflamingo's invisible threads gently pulled Baccarat toward him.

He placed a soft hand on her belly.

"How much did it cost you?"

"Less than thirty thousand," she answered calmly.

"That's not bad."

Doflamingo was quite satisfied.

Given his current constitution, any child he passed his genes to would—at minimum—be a natural genius on par with Yamato.

If he had the time, he would've publicly announced the birth.

Suddenly, a memory from years ago flashed before his eyes—a grim one.

His brows furrowed, and he quickly asked,

"How's your body? No signs of overexertion?"

He still remembered what happened when one of the Divine Attendants gave birth to Zoffy—she'd died from the strain immediately after.

He didn't care if those disposable attendants died...

But Baccarat couldn't die. It would be too difficult to cultivate another "wish maiden" like her anytime soon.

If it came to that, he'd have to go full tiger-mode.

"No, Boss! I'm perfectly healthy," Baccarat replied with joy, mistaking his concern for genuine affection.

She had no idea that her unborn child had almost died in utero just now.

"Smoothie, whatever you're hoping for will have to wait. I still need your strength for the next phase."

Doflamingo now fully understood why the two women had gotten so close.

Smoothie also wanted to bear his child.

"Mm-hmm. I understand, Doffy."

Smoothie nodded obediently, not fazed in the slightest.

Among all of Doflamingo's lovers, she was the only one officially engaged.

She was the true victor.

Doflamingo handed all the loot from Drum Island to Trebol.

Then, wrapping his arms around both women, he soared into the sky.

...

Back in the lab, Judge didn't even bother acknowledging Caesar.

He dove headfirst into the slightly pungent lab and began dissecting parts from the pirate bunny for testing.

...

The next day.

The Kingdom of Donquixote, floating above the clouds, was always the first to bask in the sunlight before the Blue Sea below.

Its citizens began to move according to the broadcast's instructions...

Until finally, they gathered at the grand plaza beneath Doflamingo's towering statue.

They began their daily prayer.

"Merciful Father! You are the master who weaves fate,

Your light is the gaze you cast upon the world.

Time is the river shaped by your pulse.

You are the holy one who descended upon this realm.

We thank you for choosing us—those lost in the suffering of the mortal world.

You saved us, and granted us a home in your kingdom.

All things shall follow your guidance toward glory..."

On the bed within the divine palace, Doflamingo opened his crimson eyes.

If Trebol and the others—who had once seen Doflamingo's true nature—were present...

They would've noticed something had changed.

Where once his eyes were filled only with rage, madness, and bloodlust...

Now there was something sacred about them.

Like a statue of a god enshrined in a holy temple.

Something that compelled reverence.
