Hesitation is one of the biggest forces in the universe; no being, no matter how powerful, can feel hesitation.
Making decisions is one of the biggest displays of courage anyone can exhibit, as it involves determining how your own life or even someone else's will unfold in the future.
So, how can someone muster the courage to take such an action? Most times, it's not courage, it's blatant ignorance, not knowing how said action will turn out makes people think that only the now matters, letting their future self deal with the problems their actions cause.
Other times, instead, the courage is brought out by their own emotions, pride, heroism, rage, despise, sadness, happiness, such emotions can bring out a form of "courage" that lets make decions, not even knowing if the decisions you are making is the correct one, blinded by emotions, you just choos what youe emotions tell you to choose.
But what if someone knows? What if someone knows? What their actions will lead to, what things will change, what will remain the same, who will suffer, and who will benefit, will they be able to make a choice? And would it be the right one?
I lay there, my eyes pointed at the endlessness of the sky, but staring at things beyond the scope of human standards, I saw things beyond anyone's comprehension, my new divinity to the dimension bringing forth even another understanding that made me hesitant.
I saw things that no mortal should see, but I had stopped being mortal a long time ago, while my powers decided I had stopped being one for more or less a week, I knew better, I knew that from the moment I had gained these powers, I stopped being "mortal".
Such a funny word, why does such a normal term sound so derogatory? When did I even start using it like that, and when did my sense of self make me think I was above them? Is it something connected to my powers? My divinity? Or simply the realization that I truly am something above them? When someone becomes able to control reality at their whim, how can they be defined on the same level as others?
On my side was it, the human machine, the item breeming with time mana that had caused my hesitation and my sudden introspection.
Each new element I mastered brought out a new sense of connection, fire brought energy, wind brought freedom, nature brought a sense of responsibility, blood made me realize the beauty in life, chaos made me realize the true scope of the reality I live in, and the dimension made me realize how small I truly was, but then... what would time bring?
Steeling my mind, I felt the stares of several people being pointed at me, some I recognized, others I feared for their actions. My powers were powerful, but they helped my growth; they didn't protect others.
I took a step forward and touched the human machine, but its physical structure, I touched the time mana filling it with power.
Each mana aspect I have ever encountered had a kind of "taste" behind it, but had no such thing; instead, it felt more like a concept, an idea forced into a phrase.
" Time is endless and limited." The words came out faster than my mind could process them, which meant a lot considering how concentrated I currently was.
And then I felt it, everything, the start of everything, the end of all of it, the current, the past, the future, its endless possibilities, the pasts that didn't happen, the current choices that shaped the time into what it was.
I felt the endless amount of timelines, how they started and ended, I felt the energy shape my body into a new being, as a new tattoo started forming inside my eyes.
And then I felt it, the power to move between timelines as I could do with dimensions; if I so decided, I could erase myself from this timeline and just place myself into another one.

I remained still for a good second and then took a step forward. In the mere second it took for me to cover said distance, I had physically seen the end and beginning of at least a dozen universes; my new powers needed to be studied.
Taking another step, this time I was able to land myself back to where I was, my original timeline, having a sense of home that made it into an anchor I could always return to.
I began walking, each giving me more control over this new power, making me see things no eye had ever seen. I saw several Big Bangs, each having its facets, so that each explosion looked more beautiful than the previous. I also witnessed the death of several universes as the energy shaping them stopped being enough to keep up with their constant expansion.
My last step brought me to a never-before-seen timeline, neither at the start nor at the end, just somewhere, on a random location, on a planet I recognized as the Earth of this time.
There, right in front of me, was a sign written in English.
" Who the hell calls their own city Goat town?"
