Although his eyes were gone, you could tell the incubus wanted the pain to end. He didn't even get to bleed to death as Zion healed him enough so that he would feel all the pain, but not die.
Even the succubus felt sorry for her companion, but her loyalties lay with Azmorath, not the incubus. She would probably be rewarded for not speaking, giving out crucial information, and staying strong.
