Edmund never got the chance to finish his words because Primrose suddenly pressed her lips against his. She wrapped her arms around his neck, refusing to let him pull away. She didn't want to hear anything else come out of his mouth because she only wanted his kiss.
[Wife, won't you run out of breath if you kiss me like this?] Edmund teased through their bond when Primrose still wouldn't let him speak. [You don't have to be shy about loving your husband's scent.]

"Edmund." Primrose finally broke the kiss, panting softly. Her cheeks flushed as she whispered, "Do you … want to eat me down there? Maybe … with your tongue?"
She only meant to distract him with something bold and unexpected, but Edmund's eyes darkened, and he took her words far too seriously.
Without a word, he laid her back down on the bed. "It would be my honor," he murmured, before pulling her legs closer until she was right at the edge of the bed.
