Chapter 676 - Chapter 676 – Fire and Metal

After briefly learning about the girl next door, Ichiro Tsuchigen stood up in a hurry and prepared to leave.

"Naruto, hurry up! I have an appointment with Keiko today. After sending you off, I'm going to meet her!"

Naruto laughed and teased him.

"Brother Ichiro, it seems there's good progress between you and Keiko?"

Ichiro Tsuchigen waved his hand, embarrassed.

"Hey! Why are you bringing this up? Let's go!"

Naruto knew Ichiro was shy.

From initial rejection to gradual acceptance, this kind of emotional development was naturally awkward.

So he didn't tease him any further.

After flying all the way to the farm, Ichiro left in a hurry.

Tomu walked over and looked at Naruto.

Naruto also looked at him.

"Let's change today's project, Brother Tomu," Naruto said with a smile.

Tomu smiled knowingly.

"It seems you've figured something out."

Naruto shrugged.

"I'm not stupid. After so many days, I can guess a little."

"Good. Let's talk while walking."

Tomu turned around and began walking forward.

Naruto followed behind.

Naruto spoke while thinking.

"I've been wondering… you sent me to this farm because it contains the foundation of the Five Elements, right?"

"And those Five Elements are actually manifestations of dark matter."

Tomu glanced at him, signaling him to continue.

Naruto continued thoughtfully.

"When I was learning about chakra back then, Ichiro told me that dark matter is the foundation of the universe."

"All matter is ultimately composed of dark matter."

"That's why he could find my dark matter and reorganize my body."

"So dark matter is like the smallest unit of existence."

"On my planet, there are Five Great Nations and five chakra natures."

"On this planet, there are also five elements."

He paused and added,

"Oh, and before, when Ichiro took me to buy ice water, he said only people with ice abilities could run freezer shops."

"That means… only people with ice attributes can create ice."

Tomu snorted lightly.

"There is no chakra on the Tsuchigen Planet."

Naruto nodded.

"I know."

"So I'm thinking… isn't ice power just natural power?"

"And aren't the five elements also natural power?"

"Chakra needs cultivation and accumulation."

"But natural energy exists everywhere."

"That's why this planet doesn't rely on chakra, but still has similar combat effects."

Tomu stopped walking.

He turned to Naruto and smiled.

"Did you figure this out yourself, or did the young master tell you?"

Naruto thought for a moment.

"Half and half. I ask when I'm confused, and he answers."

Tomu nodded.

"Then tell me—what do you think we'll do next?"

Naruto pondered for a few seconds.

"Wood, water, earth… so what's left is fire and metal."

Tomu laughed.

"Not bad."

"Outsider, your comprehension already surpasses most of the Tsuchigen clan."

Without waiting for Naruto to respond, Tomu turned and walked ahead.

"Let's go. Since you understand, we'll speed things up."

Naruto nodded.

"Oh."

Soon, Tomu brought Naruto to a huge workshop.

The temperature around them instantly rose.

"This is the blacksmith workshop," Tomu said.

"You were right. Fire and metal."

"After this, your training here will be complete."

He waved his hand.

A sturdy middle-aged man walked over.

"Boss, you called me?"

Tomu introduced,

"This is Palu Tsuchigen. You can call him Lulu."

"This is Naruto, the clan leader's guest."

Naruto bowed slightly.

"Brother Lulu."

Palu scratched his head shyly.

"Boss says Lulu. Just call me Lulu."

Naruto looked at him curiously.

He was extremely tall and muscular.

Even among shinobi, very few had such a physique.

Yet he seemed honest and timid.

Tomu exhaled.

"Palu, teach him how to forge a weapon."

Palu nodded seriously.

"Understood."

After Tomu left, Palu turned to Naruto.

"You're Naruto, right?"

"Yes, Brother Lulu."

"Come. Follow me. Change clothes first."

Before Naruto could ask anything, he felt intense heat after walking a few steps.

"Whoa…"

He wiped his sweat and followed inside.

Inside the workshop, flames roared everywhere.

Clan members worked bare-chested, hammering iron violently.

Sparks flew constantly.

Naruto noticed that the people here were much stronger than others.

Not only muscular, but also taller and more imposing.

"Watch carefully first," Palu said.

"I'll demonstrate once."

"If you don't understand, ask me later."

Naruto nodded.

"No problem."

Palu began.

He selected a piece of iron and placed it into a furnace.

Then he worked the bellows.

"Fire is the most important part of forging," Palu explained.

"Air feeds the flame and raises the temperature."

Naruto watched intently.

Soon, the iron glowed red.

"Normally, when it turns this color, it's ready."

Palu took it out with tongs and placed it on an anvil.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

He hammered it forcefully.

Sparks burst into the air.

While working, Palu explained,

"When the middle cools and hardens, put it back into the furnace."

"Heat it again."

"Then continue forging."

"Repeat until it takes shape."

Naruto wiped his sweat.

"Understood."

Palu didn't turn around.

"Go change into work clothes."

"You'll collapse from the heat otherwise."

Naruto looked at the blazing furnace, sighed, and turned around.

"Looks like… this won't be easy."

With that, he went to change his clothes, ready to begin the final stage of his elemental training.
