Chapter 599 - Chapter 599

Naruto's bright, confident smile seemed to infect Kaguya without her even realizing it.

She looked at him quietly for a moment, then finally spoke. "Naruto… I know you defeated Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki and Kinshiki. That victory must have given you confidence. But I still have to remind you of one thing."

Her eyes sharpened. "The truly powerful figures of the Ōtsutsuki clan have not yet taken action. Do you really believe you can stand against them with this level of confidence?"

Naruto looked straight at Kaguya and replied calmly, "I'm not confident."

That answer made Kaguya pause.

Naruto continued, his tone firm. "Let me ask you something, Kaguya. If you truly believed the Ōtsutsuki clan was completely unstoppable, then why did you still choose to resist?"

"Why did you try to turn all humans on this planet into White Zetsu soldiers instead of surrendering outright?"

Naruto asked the question directly, without any hesitation.

Kaguya froze.

Yes.

Back then… she had been unwilling.

Unwilling to accept fate. Unwilling to die as a sacrifice.

That was why she fought.

Naruto smiled faintly. "This has nothing to do with confidence. It's about choice."

"You were going to die anyway, so you chose to struggle. You chose to fight. That's better than kneeling down and waiting for death while complaining about how unfair the world is."

Then Naruto raised his voice slightly. "Kaguya, tell me clearly—are you willing to cooperate with me?"

Kaguya lifted her head and stared at Naruto.

For several seconds, neither of them spoke.

Their gazes collided in silence.

Black Zetsu, hidden inside Kaguya's sleeve, hesitated for a moment before speaking in a low voice. "Mother… why don't we cooperate with this Naruto for now?"

"If we don't," Black Zetsu continued nervously, "we might never get out of this situation at all. We can survive first and think about everything else later!"

Black Zetsu had survived for thousands of years. His greatest talent was not strength, but instinct.

And his instinct told him one thing very clearly—survival came before everything else.

Kaguya also understood that.

No matter what, joining forces with Naruto would greatly increase her chances of survival.

After a brief silence, she finally spoke.

"Alright, Naruto," Kaguya said slowly. "I agree. I'll cooperate with you."

Naruto's face instantly broke into a smile. "That's the right decision."

As he spoke, Naruto walked closer to Kaguya. Then he turned his head and looked at Sasuke. "Sasuke, come on. Help me release Kaguya's seal."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes slightly.

He stepped forward, looking at Kaguya and the Black Zetsu clinging to her sleeve, his expression serious. "Naruto, there's something I have to say first."

"If we remove her seal completely," Sasuke said slowly, "can you guarantee that she'll really cooperate with us?"

"Aren't you worried that the moment she regains her full power, she'll simply escape and hide on her own—just like Urashiki?"

Sasuke took another step forward. "She is the progenitor of chakra. She possesses space–time abilities. Once the seal is lifted, we may not be able to restrain her at all."

"And if she starts devouring the tailed beasts one by one after that," Sasuke continued coldly, "what then? Do we fight her again?"

He took a deep breath. "I believe it's better not to fully unseal her for now."

Black Zetsu clenched his teeth in anger.

This Uchiha brat was troublesome.

Just when Naruto was about to release the seal, Sasuke had to step in and object.

In fact, Black Zetsu himself had been thinking the same thing—once Kaguya recovered her power, she could always leave when the timing was right.

But Sasuke had said it out loud.

Inside Naruto's mind, within the sealed space.

Kurama's voice suddenly echoed. "Naruto, what Sasuke said makes sense."

Naruto's expression turned inward as he asked, "Kurama, what do you think?"

Kurama considered it carefully before replying. "Right now, what you need most is information about the Ōtsutsuki clan. There's no need to completely unseal Kaguya yet."

"As long as her chakra remains sealed, she's no different from an ordinary person," Kurama continued. "And if necessary, you can seal her again at any time."

Naruto nodded slightly. "What about the Ten-Tails' husk inside her body?"

Kurama shook his head. "The Yin–Yang Release power the old man gave you—the Yin–Yang Seal—can completely isolate chakra."

"As long as Kaguya doesn't come into contact with a massive amount of chakra, she won't be able to resonate with the Gedō Mazō inside her body," Kurama explained. "There's no chance of a breakout. You can rest easy."

After hearing both Sasuke and Kurama, Naruto made his decision.

He looked at Kaguya and said calmly, "Kaguya, considering that you were just released, we won't completely unseal you for now."

"But," Naruto added, "we'll grant you a certain degree of freedom."

Kaguya seemed to have already expected this outcome. She snorted softly. "Fine. I don't have a problem with that."

After reaching an agreement, Sasuke activated his Rinnegan, and the group left Kaguya's dimension, returning to the moon.

On the moon.

"Naruto, Sasuke… you're back," Toneri said as he turned around. Then his gaze fell on Kaguya, and his eyes narrowed sharply.

"…Who is this?"

Toneri stared at Kaguya, his expression growing increasingly shocked. He had seen this face before—in the ancient records of his clan.

"This is… Ōtsutsuki Kaguya?!"

Toneri was completely stunned.

Naruto had actually released her.

Kaguya was also observing Toneri. When she saw the Byakugan in his eyes and felt his chakra, her gaze shifted slightly.

"…A member of the clan?"

Naruto spoke up. "This is a descendant of your son Hamura—Ōtsutsuki Toneri."

Kaguya fell silent for a moment.

Toneri stepped forward respectfully and bowed deeply. "Greetings, Ancestor."

Kaguya hummed lightly in response, clearly satisfied with his etiquette.

Black Zetsu peeked out from Kaguya's sleeve, equally shocked. He hadn't expected there to be descendants of Hamura still living on the moon.

Sasuke then looked at Toneri and asked, "Have you found any trace of Urashiki?"

Toneri shook his head. "No. He's probably hiding."

Naruto frowned slightly.

Could Urashiki have gone back in time?

No—impossible.

The time-traveling artifact had already been completely destroyed when Naruto was sent back. There was no way for it to exist again.

Sasuke turned to Naruto. "What's the next step?"

Naruto looked at Kaguya. "Kaguya, I want information."

"Everything you know about the Ōtsutsuki clan—especially any rumors regarding the Ōtsutsuki God."

"And," Naruto continued, "you have multiple dimensions, don't you? One of them contains altars that can be activated using specific markings to display corresponding figures."

Kaguya narrowed her eyes. "It seems you've done quite a bit of research on the Ōtsutsuki."

Naruto shrugged. "There's no choice. Only by understanding both ourselves and our enemies can we prepare properly."

In truth, much of what Naruto knew came from Sasuke's investigations in his previous life. After leaving the village, Sasuke had explored Kaguya's dimensions tirelessly, searching for the truth behind her arrival on Earth.

And he had uncovered many secrets.

Kaguya looked at Sasuke and said, "I'll give you the coordinates. Open the space. We'll go there."

She stepped forward and transmitted the spatial coordinates.

Sasuke's Rinnegan activated immediately, tearing open a space–time portal.

Kaguya entered first.

Naruto turned back and said to Toneri, "We're heading out."

Toneri nodded. "Understood. Be careful."

Naruto stepped into the portal, followed closely by Sasuke.

With a sharp whoosh, the space closed behind them.

The journey toward the true secrets of the Ōtsutsuki clan had officially begun.
