Chapter 592 - Chapter 592

The meeting room of the Five Kage was solemn and quiet.

Kakashi reached out without hesitation and directly pressed Naruto down into the Hokage's main seat.

Naruto was startled for a moment and looked up at him in surprise. Kakashi smiled calmly and said, "Since you're the one explaining everything today, it's better for you to sit here. That way, I don't have to keep getting up and moving around."

As he spoke, Kakashi sat down beside Naruto, taking the seat of the Hokage calmly, while Sasuke naturally sat on Naruto's other side, his posture relaxed but his presence sharp and vigilant.

Naruto smiled helplessly, then stopped resisting and sat properly.

Behind them, Shikaku stood with his hands behind his back, his expression serious as he observed everything. Shizune finished directing the technicians to adjust the communication equipment and then moved to stand nearby as well, maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.

The large conference table was surrounded by several screens. As the chakra-powered communication system stabilized, the figures of the other four Kage appeared one after another.

"Naruto!"

Gaara was the first to speak when Naruto's image appeared clearly. His usually calm face showed rare concern.

Naruto smiled warmly and nodded. "Gaara."

Gaara stood up slightly, resting both hands on the table as he looked straight at Naruto and asked in a low, serious voice, "Are you alright? How did the battle on the moon go?"

Naruto spread his hands casually and said with a light laugh, "I'm sitting here talking to you, so I obviously won."

Gaara finally let out a breath he had been holding and sat back down, a faint smile appearing on his face. "That's good… that's good. Still, it's true—your strength really lives up to your name."

Ōnoki snorted from his screen. "Kazekage, you're worrying too much. Naruto Uzumaki isn't someone who goes down easily."

Gaara crossed his arms and replied seriously, "Naruto is the future of the ninja world. Of course I'm worried about his safety."

Mei Terumi covered her mouth lightly and smiled, clearly amused by the straightforward concern between the two. She found this kind of bond between comrades rather pleasing.

The Fourth Raikage, A, looked at Naruto with a sharp gaze and spoke in a deep voice. "Naruto, tell us in detail about what happened on the moon. And if there's anything important you want us to know, say it now."

Naruto nodded slowly.

This meeting existed precisely because there were things that could not be delayed.

He began recounting the battle on the moon—how he and Sasuke fought side by side, the defeat of Momoshiki and Kinshiki, and Toneri Ōtsutsuki's current role and condition. His explanation was clear and thorough, matching what he had already said during the Hokage meeting in Konoha.

Midway through, Kakashi quietly stood up, poured a glass of water, and placed it in front of Naruto.

Naruto paused, accepted it with a nod of thanks, took a sip, and then continued speaking without breaking his rhythm.

He then moved on to Urashiki Ōtsutsuki, carefully explaining his known abilities—especially his chakra-fishing technique and his dangerous space-time ninjutsu. Naruto emphasized the need for vigilance, making sure the other villages understood the threat and could warn their shinobi accordingly.

When Naruto finished, the room fell into silence.

Gaara lowered his gaze slightly, his expression turning thoughtful.

Naruto noticed the change immediately. "Gaara, is something wrong?"

Gaara raised his head and said slowly, "Naruto… what you described about Urashiki's ability to extract chakra—I think Sunagakure may have encountered something similar."

"What?!"

The reaction was immediate.

The other Kage widened their eyes. Naruto and Sasuke both frowned sharply, while Shikaku and Shizune stiffened where they stood.

"Gaara, explain clearly," Naruto said, his voice serious.

Gaara nodded and began recounting what had happened. "After our last meeting, when you warned us to be on guard against outsiders from beyond this world, I stayed near Shukaku for a time, just in case someone tried to target him."

"One day, however, something urgent came up in the village, so I returned. On the way back, I was suddenly attacked."

Naruto's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Fortunately," Gaara continued, "I reacted in time and blocked the attack. That person failed to succeed."

He paused briefly, then added, "He used the red chakra line you mentioned. The only reason I survived was because of the power Shukaku had given me. Without that, I might not be sitting here now."

Naruto's expression darkened.

Gaara continued calmly, "I was planning to tell you about it, but since you brought it up today, I might as well say it now."

Naruto frowned deeply.

Yes—this matched what he remembered.

In the original timeline, Urashiki had indeed targeted Gaara. Even after rebirth, that part of history had not changed.

"Gaara," Naruto asked carefully, "when you say Shukaku gave you power… what exactly do you mean?"

Gaara explained, "Shukaku stored a compressed chakra mass inside my body. It's meant to be used in emergencies. That Ōtsutsuki—Urashiki, I believe—noticed it and tried to extract it."

"He thought Shukaku was still sealed inside me," Naruto muttered under his breath.

Gaara nodded. "He almost succeeded. He pulled out the chakra mass, but my own chakra was still intact. I used it to escape in the end."

Naruto finally exhaled slowly, releasing some of the tension in his chest.

At least Gaara was safe.

It was obvious that Urashiki had sensed Shukaku's chakra residue and mistaken it for the full tailed beast. His misjudgment had saved Gaara's life.

Naruto looked directly at Gaara and said, "After this meeting, I'll come to Sunagakure. I want to speak with Shukaku directly if possible."

Then he turned his gaze to the other screens. "What about the rest of you? Have your jinchūriki or tailed-beast guards encountered anything similar?"

Mei Terumi, Ōnoki, and the Raikage immediately turned to consult the shinobi around them. After brief exchanges, they all shook their heads.

No similar incidents.

So far, only Gaara had been targeted.

Naruto nodded slowly, committing that information to memory.

Then his expression grew even more serious.

"There's one more thing," he said. "Something I need all of you to know."

The room fell completely silent.

"You already know that the Ōtsutsuki usually operate in pairs—a guardian and a sacrifice," Naruto continued. "Kaguya herself arrived with two companions. In the end, she betrayed one of them—Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—and left him to be absorbed by the God Tree."

"But Isshiki didn't die."

The shock was immediate.

"What?!" Mei Terumi exclaimed, disbelief written across her face.

Ōnoki let out a long sigh. "To think I'd live long enough to hear something this outrageous…"

The Raikage fixed his gaze on Naruto. "Continue."

Naruto nodded. "Isshiki was gravely injured and lost half his body. Just before death, he encountered a monk named Jigen. Using the power of his right eye—Sukunahikona—Isshiki shrank himself and entered Jigen's body through his ear."

Everyone listened without blinking.

"After that," Naruto went on, "Isshiki implanted his data into Jigen using a Kāma. Over time, he slowly overwrote Jigen's consciousness. Because of Ōtsutsuki power, Jigen lived for over a thousand years."

Gaara's eyes widened. "That's impossible… a human living that long?"

"The Ōtsutsuki are not bound by our understanding of life," Ōnoki said gravely. "Even the Sage of Six Paths lived far beyond ordinary limits."

The Raikage clenched his fist slightly. "So Isshiki has been hiding among humans all this time?"

Naruto nodded. "Yes. Jigen's body couldn't fully withstand Isshiki's chakra, which is why Isshiki never fully revived. That's the only reason the ninja world survived this long."

He looked around the room, meeting each Kage's gaze.

"He's still out there. Waiting. Searching for a suitable vessel."

Naruto's voice lowered. "That's why I'm asking all of you to form secret search teams. Find this man—Jigen. And once you do, report directly to me. Do not act on your own."

The weight of his words settled heavily over the meeting room.

No one objected.

No one doubted him.

They all understood that the enemy they faced was far beyond anything the shinobi world had known before.
