Glancing around at the devastation in the snow, Naevora was shook.
The rupture zone looked like a battlefield with craters gouged deep into the frozen earth, black veins of dried blood spiderwebbing across the white expanse.
Shattered blood spears jutted from the ground at odd angles, some still faintly glowing with dying crimson ether before crumbling into red dust
"Honestly, I am surprised you managed to kill her."
Brandon who was standing beside her, smiled playfully "Are you proud of your disciple?"
Turning to look at him, her gaze softened "I definitely am. You also protected me with your life on the line."
Upon hearing this, he just grinned "You also protected me in the past..."
As he spoke, he wrapped his arm around her neck "Come on, let's kill all the aberrants and leave the rupture."
With a nod, she replied "You don't have to fight from here on... I will kill them."
