Sitting beside him on the bed, she leaned on his shoulder "I already told you, Kael... I am going to step back from being one of the Five Great Houses..."
"So, I thought if I just sit idle, I will be bored... but if I join the Academy as a teacher, I can watch you and Eira."
"I think it will be a new experience for me."
Brandon was quiet for a long moment, just looking at her.
He reached up, gently removed the glasses, and set them on the nightstand.
Then he cupped her face with both hands, stroking his thumbs along her cheekbones.
"Do as you wish, dear."
Upon hearing this, a big smile appeared on her lips, and she moved forward to hug him.
