Rael approached them and smiled slightly.
"You're joking, right?"
Alune grumbled.
"I'm afraid not. He retrieved the power he had been talking about, but now that power latched onto him pretty tightly. One of us would need to go into the Abyss, find him, and then free him. That, or we could wait a few days until he figures it out by himself."

This guy really was unbelievable, wasn't he?
He had tossed Rael into that realm so confidently earlier, and even chatted with him. Now he was stuck? How was that even possible? Because of some stupid power? Bullshit...
"I hate side quests," Rael said with a sigh.
But right as he was starting to regret coming here in the first place, the space around him cracked slightly. Just then, a hand came through it and was sucked back inside. The space closed shortly after.
"Uh... He said he almost got it," Alune informed.
"So he was bullshitting us?" Rael raised a brow.
Alune paused for a moment, then shrugged.
