By the time Rael regained his consciousness, he found himself lying in a bed, with a wooden roof overhead. Not to mention, even though his feet felt numb, it wasn't because someone decided to prank him by cutting off his legs. Instead, it was because Gaia had been sitting beside him, leaning her head on his legs.
It didn't look really comfortable, but it didn't seem like she cared much. If anything, despite him waking up, she didn't even budge. He honestly didn't think she was the type of person to get tired, but clearly, he was wrong.
Nonetheless, Rael placed a hand over his forehead and began rubbing his temples. He remembered everything that happened earlier, but because of whatever kind of induced sleep Gaia had put him in, his mind was far clearer.
And obviously, he had enough time to realize that although he might be somewhat of a copy, he was still his own person. All the choices he had made since entering this place weren't influenced by anyone.
