"Is something wrong, Rael?"
Turning toward Gaia's voice, he simply flashed a smile.
"It's nothing. I guess, despite you being the one to regain your memories, I'm finding it more difficult to process everything."
Gaia just stared at him for a moment, then let out a sigh.
"Don't think you need to treat me differently just because I have my memories now. Treat me as you've always done."
"How can I?" Rael mumbled. "You're not the same as you've always been."
It did sound a little corny.
But then again, it was a real concern.
A genuine concern.
She acted so nonchalantly, he could almost believe her.
But he couldn't.
And noticing that, Gaia just walked up to him and sat down.
"Rael. You might not want to believe it, but my life has been a very boring one. All my life, I've been a spectator. I know many things, but I have very rarely experienced anything. If you count just the years that I've not been a spectator, I'd only be around 10,000 years old."
