The moment Rael pressed "Yes," his body began to glow. For a second, he was expecting only his consciousness to be transferred, similar to the Mind Realm. But instead, his body was propelled forward, much faster than the speed of light.
As he flew aimlessly through what seemed like an endless void, he saw a pair of hands appear above him. Then, another pair, and another. Eventually, there was nothing but hands all around him.
Although it was a little creepy, Rael knew that the only way to escape from this infinite wormhole was to grab one of those hands.
And so he did.
As he grabbed the hand closest to him, his consciousness momentarily faded.
For a moment, it felt like he was floating. But then, he realized he was just being drowned.
Rael swiftly opened his eyes and found himself sinking deep into a vast ocean. No matter where he looked, he couldn't see the ocean floor or even the land above him. It was just water.
