"Why can't i?, you brought Sean." Katherine said her eyes on the phone.
"He's my brother."
"He's also my brother."
"Didn't Sean Kill your brother?"Ian asked ruthlessly.
(Damn you!)
Katherine whole body turned rigid. Her eyes became gloomy and angry. She smiled abnormally,
"So yoy know?, well, Aris here is my adopted brother, so it's even."
Ian knew he had touched a sore spot and seeing her controlling her emotions, and looking strong, gave him the feeling of wanting to break her. He, instead of adding salt to the wound, he said,
"Order anything you want before going to meet my father?"
Katherine turned to face him,
"Who said I'm going to see your father?" She smirked through the mask but everyone could see the lifted corner of her mouth.
Ian face turned cold.
"Katherine enough of your nonsense, you agreed to come so you could see my father."
"When did I, Katherine, ever agree to meet you, Ian, father?."
Sean had a look of knowing in his eyes. Having been with Katherine for two weeks and pursuing her for six months, he knows that Katherine is very frustrating but her character was what drew him closer to her.
Ian narrowed his eyes at Katherine and eventually agreed.
"Ok, do what you want."
"I'll come when I want to, so don't be suprised to see me suddenly at your front door." Katherine ordered for somethings and asked Aris what he wanted before ringing the bell, calling the attention ofbthe waiter. A young boy answered and collected Katherine order before leaving.
Katherine didn't eat get food but gave all of it to Aris who ate it with gusto. When they were done, Katherine and Aris stood up and Katherine spoke as they walked out
"Thanks for the meal hubby."
Ian didn't respond but merely glanced at her.
When Katherine opened the door, she didn't see anybody outside which was unexpected, though a little suprised, she didn't turn back and left the room with Aris in tow.
On reaching the entrance of the restaurant, they were suddenly surrounded.
Katherine smiled and clicked her tongue.
"As expected."
"Madam, sir wants you to get into the car and wait for him."
Katherine could have fought these people but Aris doesn't know how to fight putting her in a disadvantage position.
"Okay, but send someone to pick up my car."
"Yes, madam."
Katherine got into the car and told Aris to sit in the passenger seat. It didn't take long for Ian to entervtye car and they started to move.

"I've delayed with enough sly people in my life."
"I hope so." Ian muttered as they got to the gates of Fergus mansion.
Katherine told Aris to stay in the car, that she'd be back soon and alighted from the car.
Looking at this building,bit can been seen that the Fergus household doesn't lack money, and the building seems like those ancient European places usually seen in the movies.
"How long has the Fergus family been existing?"
"For over a hundred years, it seems."
"Aahh, you people mist have deep historical and traditional roots."
"Yeah, but it doesn't apply to me. Besides, we are not living in those days anymore."
"Okay."
Sean was looking at the couple who were talking to themselves and felt like separating the both of them.
Not now. Just a little while. Sean breathed in and out trying to control his emotions.
Katherine and Ian entered at the same time and Ian sent someone to go call Finlay, while Katherine took in the beauty of the ancient building.
"Master, said he will be down shortly." The maid who sent to call Finlay returned with that response.
Katherine had stopped looking at the building but instead, played games on her phone, while Ian went to change.
Finlay was coming down the stairs when he saw that familiar red hair. The red hair was so deep it resembled the colour of blood. He froze and studied the girl in the living room, though only her side profile was seen
