The death duel ended before it even started.
There was a dead silence on the training ground.
Irina waved her hand, and a pillar of light appeared in the place where Cael's corpse lay. When it faded away, the body and the traces of golden blood disappeared.
Many of those present did not pay attention to the color of the blood, as if it was an insignificant incident. However, there were those who noticed it. Since the Awakened Association mostly hid the existence of Beings of Light, they couldn't figure out what it was related to.
Idan originally wanted to chop off Cael's head, but after the first swing, he instinctively struck additional blows that cut off both his arms and legs.
"What was that?" he asked himself.
Idan did not want to deal so cruelly and demonstratively with a Being of Light. Yes, he wanted and was going to kill Cael, but not in this way.
"This feeling, it's a little familiar to me," he remarked.
