After the first sign of waking up soon, it took several more hours before Arabel finally regained consciousness and barely opened her eyes.
Her thoughts were in turmoil. She didn't understand what had happened or how she ended up in this state. My head was buzzing, my eyes were watering and itching, and my whole body ached from pain. It was almost the same feeling, but a little weaker than when she woke up after the ascension trial.
Just like then, after a while, she was flooded with memories of what had happened and what she remembered she hadn't done and couldn't have done in her right mind.
When the other two beings in the tent noticed that Arabel was awake, they shuddered in fear.
Sob Sob Sob
"Dan, I-" Arabel began, sobbing, but Idan stopped her.
"Don't apologize, Belle," he sighed with relief, realizing that Arabel seemed to remember everything.
"I know it's because of this side effect."
"Dan… I'm afraid," Arabel said softly after some time of silence and sobbing.
