Every spectator—every citizen trapped inside the arena—had fled and gathered on the upper floors of the stands. The lower sections weren't safe anymore. The amount of destruction, rising debris, and raw power being exchanged down there was enough to kill any of them if a stray attack came their way.
In the arena, Rex and Genzai's beast exchanged claws. Whenever their hands collided in midair, the ground literally shook.
Meanwhile, Asher was fighting a beast of his own.
Genzai had fully entered battle mode, now using small, almost invisible red lasers that could pierce through anything. Asher had already witnessed that when the announcer was killed earlier.
And now that kind of power was being directed at him—with Genzai giving no thought to what might happen to the people behind him.
A small outlet popped out from the upper wrist of the suit on Genzai's right hand. He pointed it at Asher.
The laser attack began.
