[Cafeteria]
At the girls' corner of the cafeteria sat Anna, Lorraine, Natalie, Mirai, and Cammy. And where there was a group of girls, there was always gossip. Anna, more excited than the rest, couldn't keep her news to herself.
"Daaamn, girl… for real?" Natalie squealed, patting Anna's shoulder so hard the poor girl nearly dropped her spoon.
Mirai's eyes went wide as she gulped down a chunk of bread dripping with thick soup. "Wait—doesn't that mean you can't come back to campus next year?"
"Oh please," Natalie cut in before Anna could answer. She flipped her hair like a wanna-be slay queen she was. "Her husband is a freaking S-rank. Do you even realize what that means? Those guys basically get paid for breathing. And on top of that, I heard he's the CEO behind that new wine shop Stick & Lick Enterprises. So Anna won't even need to lift a finger. She just has to stay cute and spend his money. Forget graduating as a hunter, she's already won."
