Adrian closed the door to his room and stepped outside, where Rose sat lazily on a chair. The others were now wandering around town, marveling at the strange architecture and the beauty of the realm.
He planted his hands on his hips, glaring down at her.
"What is it? Say it quick. You've already ruined enough of my life…"
Rose tapped her fingers on her thigh, unbothered, as if she had all the time in the world. Finally, she smirked.
"Pink eyes… There's more to your little human girlfriend than meets the eye, isn't there?"
Adrian's jaw tightened. "She's not my girlfriend… And just spit it out already. Thanks to you, now I have to figure out how to keep Cammy quiet so she doesn't scream demons to the whole world!"
"So, her name is Cammy." Rose tilted her head. "Why not just kill her to silence her? That's the cleanest way, don't you agree?"
Adrian's glare sharpened. "Is killing the only way you demons solve anything?"
