"No, you are wrong," Marcellus' eyes narrowed at him. "I'm sending them to prove if life is still possible, do you really think we can remain in this little fortress forever? We need to scout out for places we can develop and live in. What if the monsters decide to attack our fortress? what are we going to do about it?"
Stefan's hands clenched tightly beside him.
"I'm only doing this for the good of the survivors, to revive what humanity once was, to be able to live in a safe world. And if a few of the soldiers have to die for it, then it is worth the sacrifice." He added, his jaws twitching.
"But it doesn't have to be like this, we can do this in a whole different way that is safe and effective. You have sent out elite students, and the ones who have strong potentials. If they die, aren't you going to lose? Huh?" Stefan's voice grew menacingly low.
He turned to Falcon, "your only son is in that group, how can you be so cool about it?"
