Pingxin laughed and said, "So you gave the scepter as a pretext to request the couplet!"
"Goddess is insightful, the gift of the scepter was solely to glorify your presence, there was no intention of bartering. If I wished to request the couplet, I would ask outright."
"I trust you, I shall grant your request for the couplet."
Bai Jin immediately expressed his gratitude and bowed deeply, "Thank you, Goddess!"
