Fifteenth Floor, Dungeon
"Dusk, Fruela… come in." Leon's calm voice echoed across the chamber as he placed his hand against his chest and whispered—
A deep green light pulsed beneath his skin, rippling across his body in slow waves. His throbbing veins settled, his strained joints relaxed, and his heavy breathing steadied.
"Hah…" Leon exhaled slowly, relief washing over him. He tilted his head and cracked his neck.
Crack–Crack–Crack.
The sound echoed in the silent training room.
"Elis said you have some news?" Leon asked, turning his gaze toward Dusk.
Swish.
In a blur of motion, Elis materialized before him and bowed deeply. "Master… please, take a seat."
She raised her hand, and the entire room shifted. The shattered stone dummies vanished in an instant, their fragments melting into the ground. A massive throne of stone rose in their place, sculpted intricately with rune-like lines running down its arms.
Leon smiled faintly. "Thank you, darling."
