Cashew was looking at the pile of frozen dead bodies he had in the cell, thinking.
Cashew: Yeah... Let's give Necromancy a try. I'm already viewed as a villain anyways, why not go the full way?
Cashew was looking at the bodies, trying to decide which one to use, and he eventually chose the Jolly Sex Offender. The one he had to cut the arm off of.
Cashew: Let's try it out for the first time in a damaged body. I don't want to ruin a skeleton that's perfectly fine. If I make mistakes, let's make the mistakes on a Damaged skeleton.
As he said that, he undid the Ice magic on the body and attempted to drag it to his big table, but it's too fat!
Cashew: *Sigh* I should have kept a wood Golem here to carry this for me... It's too heavy! Fine. I'll do it here.
Cashew pulled out the Necromancy book he got from the woman in Purple, flipping through the pages.
Cashew: Right... Neither book contains anything for zombie-like summons... Just skeletons.
He then stripped the body of its clothes and pulled a Dagger out and stabbed it into the bodies stomach, right as he was about to start moving the knife, he paused, as if realizing something.
Cashew: Why am I not bothered by this?...
He stood up and thought about his realization out loud.
Cashew: Why am I not bothered by this? Why am I not bothered by any of the things I've done and seen? I'm, What? 9 years old? It doesn't matter what kind of world this is, no 9 year old would be unbothered by this type of thing!
Cashew: Thinking about it, I watched Goblins violate corpses and I was unphased, I was less than 2 years old. One could argue me not knowing what was happening, but if you include my old life, I'm mentally 30 something, so I knew exactly what they were doing and was still unbothered.
Cashew: I killed my first person at 3 years old, was still completely unphased. I nearly died at 3 years old, completely unphased. I've been in several fights and killed several people and I'm completely unphased. Here I am getting ready to dissect a human corpse for Necromancy and I'm still unbothered by it, why? My old world was peaceful, the most violent things you'd most likely see was either fiction or those murder videos you'd find on strange websites at 3:00AM. My point being that I have no reason to be desensitized towards this stuff! So why am I not bothered-... *Sigh*
Cashew stopped talking, rubbed his forehead, and crouched next to the body again.
Cashew: No point in questioning it. I'm already this deep, it's official that I must be some sort of psychopath or something. So let's continue on.
He said that and continued on with what he was doing, cutting the stomach open, removing the organs, cutting the flesh, fat, muscles and meat off, and after 30 minutes, he had a human skeleton with a damaged skull and missing arm in front of him.
Cashew: *Sigh*... Still not bothered... A normal person would be throwing up at this, but here I am, completely fine.
Cashew sighed and collected the bones, carrying them to his big table in the other room, but the skull fell apart in his hand. It seems the flesh was keeping it together. He sighed and picked up the fragments, carrying it to the table anyways.
Cashew flipped through his Necromancy book, looking at all of the runes you gotta draw on the bones to connect the skeleton again, and he was glad that they were simple runes, none of them looked very complicated.
Cashew: This skeleton is too damaged... I can't do anything with it. The Runes seem simple, but if I can turn this into a summon, it won't be able to do anything. Not even manual Labor...
He sighed and went back to the cage, he found the body of the other sex offender that he had, he started removing everything, but this one's head was caved in even worst, the skull couldn't even stay together even with all the flesh still on it, so he sighed and cut the head off, continuing on with removing the orgwnic stuff from this now headless body.
Cashew: Wait. I still have the arm of that one body, it's just in a state of constantly moving. Maybe the skeletons just don't need the heads?
Cashew then carried the bones of this new skeleton to the table and started drawing the Runes on it. When the Runes were drawn, he read the next part of the book.
Cashew: Hmm... Ok... So, I need to "draw these Runes onto the Crystal and connect the crystal to the skeleton, inject Mana into the Crystal and then inject Mana into the skeleton itself"... Ok, the Book says the inside of the skull where the brain would be is the best spot for the Crystal... I don't have skulls for this guy...
He sighed. Heading back into the cell with the dead bodies. All he has left are the original inhabitants of this fortress, the Elf Man, Elf Woman, Human Woman and two Human Men.
Cashew: Hm. I wonder how different the skeletons and bodies of legs and humans are? Women usually have wider hips than men because of child birth and whatnot, but what kind of differences are there between the human body and Elf body?
Cashew put his hand on his chin as he thought out loud.
Cashew: In my old world, when talking strictly about the hip bones, White women had the widest hips, then black women, then asian women had the smallest hip bones... I wouldn't know as I saw it online, but I wonder if Humans and Elves have a similar difference? Or any differences? I know the Ears aren't bones, but does an Elf skull look different in the ear area than a human? Oh, I'm curious!
2 hours later, and Cashew had 4 more skeletons lying on the floor, one skeleton belonged to a Human Man, the other belonged to an Elf Man, the 3rd belonged to a Human Woman and the final one belonged to an Elf Woman.
Cashew: Oh, wow... The skeletons are different! The Elf Woman has smaller hips than the Human Woman. The Elf Woman has smaller hips than the Human Man, let alone the woman. So Elves must have really small babies... Or at least the species of Elf that this woman was must have really small babies. She must be a Dark Elf, if I had to guess. An Elf with really tan skin compared to the Elf Man, who was really pale.
Cashew continued looking at the Skeletons and comparing them, looking to see what's different and what's not different.
Cashew: Elves have ear bones! Well, it looks like a finger bone is attached to their head, but the tip of that bone has several small holes in it, like the snout of a Crocodile! So Elves ears have little sensor type things in them... I wonder what they are for!
Cashew: Wow! The Elf Man has really thick arm bones, even thicker than the Elf Woman and the two Humans. Maybe his species of Elves are usually archers? Really thick bones to handle the bow more easily?
Cashew: Oh... Oh wow. The Elves Woman's skeleton feels really heavy... As if I never took the flesh and organs away... So Dark Elves have really dense bones? They probably can't swim very well, then.
For an entire hour, Cashew kept pointing out and noticing differences between the skeletons of humans and elves. He seemed to be enjoying this, having fun, before remembering what he was doing originally.
Cashew: Right... Necromancy. Let's carry on.
Cashew was about to start collecting the bones of the human Man before pausing, looking at the pile of meat and flesh on the floor.
Cashew: Hm. What am I gonna do with all that?... I could get a pet Wolf?... No... All animals wanna eat me specifically, thanks to the dragon meat I ate. Let's burn it all, I guess. I may be a Necromancer now, but I'm not a cannibal, I don't need the meat for traps as I can go on a stroll through the woods and animals will seek me out, no need for bait. Might as well burn that Fox Carcass in one of the guards towers, while I'm at it.
Cashew put the bones down and collected some tree bark from the leftover tree trunks and put it into one of the large stone bowls next to his table, using fire magic to light the bark on fire, then stacking some of the human remains into the bowl.
He then carried all the bones from the Human Man's skeletone and put it on the table, drawing the Runes onto each bone, pulling out a Crystal and injecting Mana into it, then injecting Mana into the skeleton itself.
After about 5 minutes, the bones started pulling themselves together, connecting themselves through a thin light blue line of magic. Then, a small little harmless explosion of Mana occured, and the Skeleton raised up, getting off of the table and looking at Cashew. It has no face or any way to express emotions, but Cashew can tell its expecting something.
Cashew: My first undead summon! Now, *Ahem* give me a thumbs up if you can use Magic, give me a thumbs down if you can't use Magic.
The Skeleton looked at Cashew, tilting its head as if it doesn't understand.
Cashew: Ok, this is a Thumbs up.... And this is a Thumbs down...
Cashew said while performing a thumbs up and thumbs down for the Skeleton.
Cashew: Now, in life, you were capable of using Magic, so give me a Thumbs up if you can still use Magic, or give me a thumbs down if you can't use Magic.
After a few moments, the Skeleton slowly gave a thumbs down.
Cashew: Disappointing... Ok, Give me a Thumbs up if you can use a melee weapon, or a thumbs down if you can't use a Melee weapon.
The Skeleton gave a Thumbs up, which made Cashew really happy, he immediately told the skeleton to wait there while he went to the storage room. He immediately started looking through a crate, pulling out an old, but large shield and an Iron Sword, right when he was about to carry the weapons to the skeleton, Cashew Paused.
Cashew: I'm expecting visitors again soon. The City Lord said he would send someone to drop off the things I asked for, I doubt he's gonna stay here long, but I shouldn't build a massive skeleton army until after that person leaves, just to be safe.
Cashew then carried the sword and shield to the skeleton, handing it to him and saying that those are its weapons now.
He also handed it a dagger and told it to remove all the flesh and organs from the Human Man's body in the Cell.
Cashew: Ok, I didn't write that down as a task, but I got new summons now!... Just gotta wait for the stuff to fix my door to show up and then I can turn the rest into Skeletons and start getting crystals again.
As Cashew finished talking to himself, he tossed some more human remains onto the fire and some more tree bark onto that fire, staying put until all the flesh and organs are burned away.
