Red turned to Blue, unsure of how to address her. Ash, still carrying Blue, chimed in, "She's a bit shy. So, goodbye, Red."
"Wait! Who's shy? Wait for me!"
Watching Ash and Blue squabble as they walked away, Red chuckled to himself. "Their relationship is really good... Wait! Isn't Saffron City under Team Rocket's blockade?"
Suddenly realizing something was amiss, Red started to chase after them but ran into an invisible barrier. Nearby, Bulbasaur and Pikachu averted their gazes sympathetically.
"Hey, wait!"
Although the collision was painful, Red still hoped to clarify the situation with Ash, but Ash and Blue had completely ignored his calls as they departed together.
"What do I do about this wall...?"
Staring at the invisible barrier, Red furrowed his brow in frustration when a voice suddenly appeared beside him. "Need some help, kid?"
Turning quickly, Red was astonished to see the familiar figure before him.
"Will?!"

The sheer terror emanating from the new general was palpable; each Pokémon he commanded was incredibly strong, and more worryingly, he specialized in Dark-types.
People still had a deep-rooted fear of Dark-type Pokémon.
Upon reaching Sabrina, Ash gently placed Blue down, only for her to quickly leap back onto his back. "Oh no! I can't believe I now have to face that psychic woman. You have to protect me, dear!"
Seeing Blue's antics, Sabrina's eyes flashed red, and in an instant, she appeared right in front of Blue. Looking at her, Sabrina said, "I'm Sabrina from our time, like you, I'm Ash's fiancée. Understand?"
Upon hearing this, Blue blinked in surprise, and as she observed Sabrina more closely, she noted that this version of Sabrina was distinctly different from the one she had previously encountered. Letting out a relieved sigh, she said, "Phew... You scared me! I thought you were that psychic I offended! I'm so sorry!"
Sabrina waved off Blue's apology with a smile. "No problem. But Ash, now that you've rescued her, can we go back?"
As Sabrina inquired, Ash was feeding his Zigzagoon some berries, "We can leave once Giovanni gets the Master Ball; until then, it's all going smoothly..."
Boom!!!!
"Pfft!"
At the sound of the explosion, Ash was comically face-palmed, while both Sabrina and Blue stifled their laughter at his expression.
"Ash, you really shouldn't raise a flag like that... hahaha!"
"Okay, I'll go handle this. Blue and Sabrina, you two stay put for now..."
With the realization of his surprising embarrassment fresh in his mind, Ash had to confront the invaders. After all, he wouldn't let anyone off easily for making him look foolish.

As Ash arrived at Silph Co. with Houndoom and Arcanine, he soon learned who had the audacity to cause such chaos — it was Will, one of the Elite Four in this world.
Gazing at Will, the Flying-type Elite Four member who had been a formidable opponent for his fiancée, Ash couldn't help but smile with interest.
"Tell me, how strong do you think Will is here? If we can defeat his Pokémon, do you think our Dark-types will start to gain popularity in this world?"
Upon hearing Ash, Houndoom and Arcanine exchanged glances and nodded. Since Ash wanted to play, they would accompany him to the end, making sure everyone understood that Dark-type Pokémon were formidable as well!
Encouraged by this thought, both Houndoom and Arcanine's demeanor shifted. In their eyes, Will had become their next target.
Kill or be killed — that was the creed of Ash's Dark-type Pokémon, the fearsome dogs he had raised. And now, their next prey was the one who embodied 'dragons.'
Seeing the fierce determination in his Pokémon's eyes, Ash opened his arms and declared, "Great! Let's begin! The stage is yours from now on! We embody evil! Pure evil! Let the world see the charm of Dark-type Pokémon! Hahahaha!!!!"
As Ash's wild laughter echoed through the area, a horde of reckless reporters aimed their cameras at the mysterious masked figure.
