"My Ditto! I'll be right there to save you!"
Having successfully located Ditto with Ash's help, Duplica could only helplessly watch as Ditto was subjected to brutal training. Even if she wanted to rescue it, there was nothing she could do because Ash was holding her tightly and covering her mouth.
"Shh, don't make a sound. Team Rocket is currently training Ditto; we don't want to disturb them. The reason Ditto has been struggling to transform is that you spoiled it too much. Now, with someone using brutal training, it might actually help it out."
Suzy stole a glance at Team Rocket, who were scaring Ditto while constantly commanding it to transform. "Isn't this a bit much? I feel so sorry for Ditto."
"It's fine. In situations like this, Ditto needs someone to push it hard. From what I can see, they're doing pretty well."
Looking at Jessie, who was embodying the Fierce Roar, and then at the pitiful, weak, and helpless Ditto, Suzy sighed. "What an extreme approach."
However, Lyn didn't think so. She looked at the strictly trained Ditto and said, "I once read a book about a creature called an eagle. When their young are little, their parents would push them off cliffs to break their wings, making them stronger and more capable of flying."
"That's not the same! Ditto isn't an eagle!"
Seeing that Duplica was still being held back by Ash, Brock sympathetically said, "Give it up, Ash. This time, he's serious…"
Just then, Misty suddenly exclaimed, "Look! Ditto finally did it!"
When Ash and the others looked over, they realized it was Meowth using its claws to intimidate Ditto, which finally enabled it to transform perfectly. Jessie and James, upon seeing Ditto's success, immediately became excited.
"Awesome!"
"Promotion and a raise! Promotion and a raise!"
Meowth said, "We did it! It was tough, but we succeeded!"
Jessie exclaimed, "Now we can become higher-ups!"
Ash exclaimed, "Congratulations! You've successfully trained Ditto!"
Misty remarked, "Although the method is questionable, it's really impressive!"
Suzy added, "Maybe strictness is also a form of nurturing!"
Lyn said, "See? That's the benefit of being strict; the eaglet can finally fly on its own."
Duplica exclaimed, "Thank you so much! My wish has come true!"
Pikachu chimed in, "Pika Pika!" (When do we start hitting them??)
"Wait for it. We'll wait for Ash's signal."
Meowth said, "Ah, so strictness really does have its advantages!"
With that, Ash and Team Rocket congratulated each other and celebrated. Meanwhile, Brock looked at everyone congratulating each other, unsure if he should remind them that Team Rocket seemed about to suffer.
Amidst this, Meowth suddenly came to a realization while celebrating with Pikachu.
"Wait, why do I feel like there are more of us here?"
Jessie responded, "Now that you mention it…"
James added, "It does seem that way…"
"You brats! What are you doing here?!"
By the time Team Rocket realized something was off, they had already been surrounded. Primeape, Beedrill, Arcanine, Squirtle, Scyther, Starmie, Vulpix, Pikachu, Chansey, and Meowth had already encircled them. Ash smiled and said, "Great! Now that you've noticed, it's time to silence you! Go!"
"Uh-oh! Attack!"
As the Pokémon joyfully surrounded Team Rocket with attacks, Duplica happily hugged her successfully transformed Ditto and said, "Great! Ditto, you did it!"
"Mah mah!"
Thus, with Team Rocket's friendly help, Ditto finally learned to transform successfully, while the three members of Team Rocket happily faced their reward: a thorough beating.
