Chapter 373 - Erasing a Small Villain

— — — — — —

The Heavenly Poison Art was impossibly profound for Little Doctor Fairy, but with Renzo's guidance, she managed to grasp its core principles.

Just by trusting her instincts, she was convinced of its authenticity.

Her eyes instantly turned red as tears welled up, spilling uncontrollably. Choking with emotion, she bowed deeply to Renzo. "Thank you for granting me this technique… for giving me a new life! I'm willing to follow you, to serve you forever!"

How long had she dreamed of this?

Ever since learning about her unique constitution, fear had haunted her nights, robbing her of sleep.

Kind-hearted as she was, the thought of her body one day erupting and turning her into a merciless killer terrified her.

And yet, her will to live was strong. She didn't want to just lie down and accept her fate.

But now, all of that was gone. With just one cultivation art, Renzo had changed everything.

If she worked hard on the Heavenly Poison Art, she truly believed she'd no longer suffer from her cursed body. Instead, Woeful Poison Body could become her greatest weapon, helping her grow stronger at an incredible pace—maybe even rising to stand among the true powerhouses one day.

And along the way, she could finally see more of the world's beauty.

"Good. Then come with me. Do you need to pack up first?" Renzo asked with a satisfied nod.

"Mm-hm! Just give me a moment!"

Little Fairy Doctor nodded quickly before darting back inside her house to gather her things.

At that moment, footsteps and a loud shout came from the courtyard.

"Doctor, are you here?"

Without waiting for permission, five men shoved the gate open and barged in.

Leading them was a young man who looked every bit the spoiled brat—his cultivation barely at the entry level of Dou Practitioner. He'd swaggered in with a smug expression, but the instant his eyes landed on Renzo, his face darkened.

Fixing Renzo with a sharp glare, he demanded, "Who are you? What's your relationship with Little Fairy Doctor?"

"Does that concern you?" Renzo's voice was cold, his expression detached. "Get out. And close the door behind you."

By reading his thoughts, Renzo already knew who this clown was—Mu Li, the deputy leader of a mercenary group, and the same small villain from the original story who lusted after Little Fairy Doctor.

A petty character. Why would Renzo bother with him?

"Watch your mouth, brat!"

"Who the hell do you think you are?"

"Bold words! Do you even know who our Deputy Leader is?"

Even before Mu Li could speak, his lackeys stepped forward, blustering and shouting as if ready to attack at the slightest excuse.

"You're asking for death!" Mu Li's face twisted with fury. He jerked his head at his men and snarled, "Do it! Break his arms and legs! Don't kill him yet—I want him alive so I can torture him slowly. I'll make him beg for death!"

His hatred for Renzo burned hotter by the second.

No one had ever dared speak to him that way, let alone mock him to his face. Today, he'd show this pretty boy the price of insolence.

In truth, even if Renzo had stayed silent, Mu Li wouldn't have let him go. Just being alone with Little Fairy Doctor in her courtyard was enough for him to want Renzo dead.

In Mu Li's eyes, she was his woman. Anyone who dared touch her would have to pay.

"Yes, Deputy Leader!"

"Heh heh… brat, go to hell!"

His men rushed Renzo, grinning wickedly, fists cocked to strike.

"Annoying. Die."

Renzo's brows knit slightly. With a casual wave of his hand, Mu Li and his entire group vanished—as if their existence had been wiped clean from reality itself.

"Noooooo—!"

That last scream of terror was all they managed before disappearing, erased from the courtyard like they had never been there.

"What's going on? What happened?"

Startled by the noise, Little Fairy Doctor rushed out, only to find the courtyard completely empty. The gate stood open, but there was no one in sight.

Perplexed, she scanned the area, even stepping outside to look around. Finding nothing, she returned, tilting her head at Renzo in confusion.

"Did someone come by just now? Why is everything so quiet… where did they go?"

"A few idiots who didn't know their place. I already wiped them out. Are you done packing?" Renzo said casually, as if it were nothing worth mentioning.

"Wiped them out? You… what?"

Her eyes widened in shock, a flicker of fear crossing her face as she looked at him. Still, she mustered the courage to ask, "D-Do you know who they were?"

"Doesn't matter. Just a bunch of scum. Their leader's name was Mu Li, I think. Some small fry from a mercenary group in this town. He tried to kill me—so he brought his own death." Renzo's tone was patient, not wanting her to mistake him for a bloodthirsty killer without reason.

"What?! Mu Li?"

Her face went pale in an instant. "This is bad! You're in trouble now! Mu Li was the deputy leader of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group. His father is a Dou Master! Before they find out, we have to run!"

She didn't even bother with her things anymore. The girl rushed forward and grabbed Renzo's hand, desperate to drag him away.

Renzo couldn't help laughing. He pulled her into his arms instead, looking down at her helplessly. "You really think I'd be scared of a mere Dou Master? Forget Dou Masters—even if a Dou King or a Dou Emperor showed up, I could crush them with a flip of my hand. Stop worrying and just pack your things."

"You're still joking? This isn't funny! We have to leave now, or it'll be too late!"

Her eyes grew misty, almost crying from anxiety.

What nonsense! Dou Kings and Dou Emperors? Who brags like that?

Seeing her like this, Renzo knocked her lightly on the forehead. "Are you stupid? You really think I'm bluffing? Do you think any random guy could see through your Poison Constitution at a glance, and even create a perfect cultivation method to solve it? Stop underestimating me. Now hurry up and finish packing."

"..."

"Eh? Oh… right."

Holding her sore forehead, Little Fairy Doctor blinked blankly before realizing he had a point. Blushing furiously under Renzo's teasing gaze, she wriggled out of his embrace and ran back inside.

Even though Renzo had reassured her, she still hurried to gather her belongings as fast as she could. Soon she returned, carrying several bags stuffed with her things. "I'm ready! I know you're not afraid, but the fewer troubles we run into, the better. Let's leave quickly."

She was still clearly uneasy.

"Alright, I'll carry those for you."

Renzo nodded and with a flick of his hand conjured a spatial ring that could store thousands of cubic meters. With another wave, all of her bags vanished into it. He handed her the ring. "Here. Everything's stored. We can leave now."

"This… this is a storage ring? It's too valuable, I can't take it!" Little Fairy Doctor stammered, waving her hands frantically.

"Stop fussing. You're already mine—why would I care about giving you a ring? That Heavenly Poison Art I gave you is worth millions of times more. Take it and let's go."

He shoved the ring into her hands. She could only accept it awkwardly, slipping it onto her finger and murmuring thanks.

The next second, Renzo wrapped an arm around her waist, and in a blink, the two of them vanished from the courtyard.

From that day on, the famous Little Fairy Doctor of Qingshan Town was nowhere to be found.

The Wolf Head Mercenary Group searched for her. So did the people from Thousand Medicine House. Yet no trace remained, as though she had disappeared from the world.

Some claimed she killed Mu Li, the Wolf Head deputy leader, and fled.

Others whispered she had caught the eye of a powerful figure, who whisked her away.

And still others said she wasn't real, maybe a ghost.
