In an unfamiliar world—Inside the grand palace hall…
A young emperor sat on his decorated throne, watching the chaos unfold below him. His expression was tense, conflicted about how to break out of this mess.
"I'm fucked."
"Dammit. I'm so damn fucked."
"I, a dignified transmigrator, ended up in this filthy world… and of all things, I got stuck as a powerless, clueless little emperor? What kind of sick joke is this?"
He wanted to scream, but there was no point. Complaining wouldn't change a damn thing.
"Your Majesty!" one of the so-called 'loyal officials' was kneeling on the cold floor, passionately denouncing someone. "This corrupt Prime Minister has wiped out a loyal official's entire family! Not only that, he's been embezzling funds, taking bribes, misleading you, and plunging the empire into utter chaos! I've gathered solid proof—please, Your Majesty, pass judgment! Remove this parasite!"
As he finished, he presented a scroll of so-called 'evidence.'
"Exactly! I too accuse this vile Prime Minister!" another shouted. "His depravity knows no bounds! The empire is falling apart! The people are starving, rebellions are rising all over! Your Majesty, please punish this traitor!"
"Yes! Your Majesty, please act for the sake of the empire!"
One after another, multiple officials—those still clinging to the dream of saving the empire—stepped forward, joining in the outcry.
Off to the side, the general remained silent, arms crossed, coldly observing the drama. He didn't seem the least bit interested in intervening.
Meanwhile, standing confidently by the throne, the accused minister casually tore into a chunk of raw meat, oil dripping from his lips, and said lazily, "Your Majesty, these men are slandering me. It's all lies! They're not just smearing my name—they're trying to undermine your authority too."
He wiped his greasy hands on his robe and continued, "Rebellions? Starving citizens? What nonsense! The empire's never been more prosperous! The people are happy and safe!"
"This is nothing but treasonous slander!" he roared. "Your Majesty, I urge you to execute these traitors immediately!"
The officials who had spoken up nearly exploded with rage.
"You dare call us traitors?! You're the one manipulating His Majesty and controlling the entire court like a puppet master!"
"We never said a bad word about His Majesty—don't twist our words!"
"You damn liar!"
"Your Majesty, we beg for justice!"
Despite their outcries, a sense of dread crept into their hearts.
Because the little emperor… still hadn't said a word.
So much evidence, so many voices speaking up—was it still not enough to bring the Prime Minister down?
"Your Majesty… please, just give the order and take these traitors away!" the Prime Minister urged again, faking confusion as he glanced at the silent boy on the throne.
'Take what away? You want me to do what?!'
The young emperor—whose real name was Renzo—was internally cursing up a storm.
He wasn't the original emperor. He was a transmigrator. And now he was stuck in this political hellhole!
"Should I confront him head-on? Just call him out and have him executed? Would that even solve anything?"
No—it wouldn't be that simple.
Even if he managed to take this minister down, the next day the entire capital would probably erupt into chaos. The whole empire could collapse in a heartbeat.
And him? A kid with no power, no strength? He'd be the first to die.
Just then, something strange happened.
Renzo felt his consciousness blur. It was like he was being sucked into a whirlpool—and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a pitch-black tunnel.
"..."
"Where the hell am I now?"
He cautiously looked around and started walking toward the faint light at the far end.
Soon, he stepped into a large hall.
And in that hall… were seven or eight other people. All kinds of strange-looking individuals.
"What now? Did I just… transmigrate again?! How did I die?"
He tried to steady his nerves and asked, "Um… excuse me, where exactly am I? And… who are all of you?"
"New guy, huh?" Hermione narrowed her eyes. "You one of the big shots, or just another sidekick?"
"Hah? Another newbie already?" someone else snorted. "Where'd you come from?"
"Kid looks like he's twelve. Fancy outfit though. Looks like a Western noble from some medieval world or something."
"No idea where he's from," another said, "but he's got zero power. Probably another deadweight. Let's just hope his world's got something useful."
Pirate Renzo walked over and extended a hand. "Hey there, rookie. First things first—shake on it."
"Huh?" the little emperor blinked, confused. He glanced at Pirate, then at the outstretched hand. After a brief hesitation… he took it.
And then—
A surge of overwhelming power and memories poured into his mind and body. He collapsed on the spot, completely stunned.
"Huh… so that's the world he came from?" Pirate Renzo casually absorbed the incoming memories. He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused.
"Well? Don't leave us hanging—what world is it?" Eevee urged from the side.
"Akame ga Kill. Ring any bells?"
Pirate Renzo turned back toward the group with a grin as he returned to his seat.
"No way—Akame? The newbie's from that world?"
Eevee's eyes lit up. But instead of rushing to share memories, he started guessing out loud, intrigued.
"The newbie doesn't look like he's part of the protagonist squad or the main villains either. What's his identity? A noble, maybe?"
Gundam Renzo rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Well, nobles in that world are mostly scum..."
Uchiha Renzo nodded in agreement. "True. But judging by that outfit? I'm guessing he's the Emperor. Ordinary nobles can't afford something like that."
"Huh?"
The others were clearly surprised. All eyes turned to Pirate Renzo, silently asking him to confirm.
"Bingo!" Pirate Renzo grinned and gave Uchiha Renzo a thumbs-up before holding out a hand. "Yep—he's the young emperor. Honestly, I was a bit shocked too. And the timing of his arrival? Couldn't be more perfect."
"Oh ho? Is that so? Come on, let's sync up!"
The others bumped fists with Pirate Renzo one by one, quickly syncing the shared memories.
Their expressions turned... complicated.
Hermione was the first to speak, a bit speechless. "So he really is the young emperor, huh? And he just awakened? These time dilation differences between worlds are getting out of hand..."
"I think he just got his memories back," Uchiha Renzo added.
It wasn't unheard of—Pirate and Gundam Renzo had gone through the same thing when they crossed over.
"Yeah, agreed," Pirate Renzo nodded. "It's definitely not a possession or body-swap. His soul and body are perfectly synced—no gaps, no signs of force. But man... talk about bad luck. Of all people to end up as, it had to be the young emperor."
"Yikes. He's got a long road ahead of him. Well, if he didn't have the multiverse share."
"Trying to reform a corrupt empire that's rotten to its core? Not exactly a walk in the park."
Meanwhile, the young emperor Renzo finally finished processing the influx of knowledge. He blinked, then grinned, energized by the revelation.
"So that's what this is! Awesome! Is this my golden cheat code kicking in? Or did I just give myself a power-up?"
Either way, he finally saw some hope on the horizon.
Just in time, he caught the tail end of the group's conversation. He walked over with a smile, chiming in, "You're right—things have been rough. So... how about a little advice, huh? I could really use some ideas."
"Also, I'll need tons of books for this empire—politics, military, the whole works. I'll be counting on you guys!"
He paused briefly, then added with a slight bow, "Even though you already know, I should still introduce myself properly. I'm Renzo from the Akame ga Kill world! I'll be in your care from now on!"
"No need to be so formal!" Pirate Renzo said with a cheerful grin. "We're all the same person here. Helping each other is what we do!"
Uchiha Renzo chuckled and nodded. "Exactly. That said, I am pretty curious about your world's Teigu."
"And all those Danger Beasts too," he added. "Your world's loaded with valuable resources—it's definitely worth digging into."
In fact, the Akame Ga Kill world had even more resources than the ninja world—and it was significantly larger too. Apart from the Empire, there were tons of other kingdoms and regions. And with the presence of alchemy, it wouldn't surprise him if magic existed there as well.
"Totally agree," Hermione said, her eyes lighting up. She turned to Emperor Renzo. "Try to get your hands on some of those Danger Beasts so we can study them, yeah? It'd be great for research!"
"And if you can get any Teigu, even better. Also, I'm super curious about your world's alchemy system—I'd love to compare it to ours."
By now, Hermione had reached an incredible level of mastery in her world's alchemy—far beyond even the legendary Nicolas Flamel.
She'd fully cracked the secrets of time-turners and could even craft them herself.
She wasn't called the Wizarding World's number one genius for nothing.
Not even Dumbledore could hold a candle to her anymore.
