Tony was dumbfounded as Noah slowly opened a portal in his slightly dazed eyes.
Jason, carrying the unconscious Ethan on his shoulders, followed Noah through the portal without looking back.
Jason was a cold-blooded killer, with a list of high-profile victims, including rich people and politicians. To be honest, whether Tony was the boss of Stark Industries had no bearing on him.
Of course, that was in the past. Jason had regained his humanity. Especially in the past few years with Noah, he had been smiling and spending time with this group of children. He couldn't change other people's lives, but his skills were improving day by day.
"Are you really okay, Mr. Noah?" Jason followed Noah to Coulson's base. After tossing Ethan casually onto a bed, he asked with some doubt.
"It's fine. Don't you think his suit looks good?" Noah smiled indifferently. "And my imprisonment spell lasts a while. As long as he can move freely, the spell will be lifted. So, there's no need to worry about him."
Jason didn't refute the explanation. To him, magicians were all-powerful. While they might be a little behind in technology, that was just technology. Other things left Jason in awe.
For magicians, technology was probably just a form of entertainment. Jason had seen them use technology mainly to chat online or gather information. They rarely used it for anything else.
For example, Noah, possibly not fully confident about Tony Stark, had turned on a magic that acted like a monitor. Here, they could clearly see Tony's astonishment after Noah and his group left, followed by his ecstasy when he realized his suit could move.
As expected, just as Noah had predicted, Jason saw Tony Stark manipulating the battle suit to fight. It didn't take him long to eliminate the terrorists one by one. Jason sighed, impressed by how scary magicians were and how amazing Tony was. Despite the desperate situation, he had managed to build such equipment and save himself. Tony was a genius.
Jason frowned as he watched Tony escape, thinking, If such technology were put into soldiers' hands...
"If you had to face these guys, what do you think your chances of survival would be?" Noah asked, watching Tony blow up the explosive depot and narrowly escape due to fuel issues. Noah shook his head with a smile, looking at the silent Jason.
"I'm sure I could kill them all," Jason replied, shaking his head. "But if it was before, I might've been seriously injured."
"Is that so?" Noah nodded. It seemed Jason was truly powerful.
"Sir, aren't you worried about Mr. Stark's new product being equipped on ordinary soldiers?" Jason suddenly asked in confusion.
"Oh?" Noah glanced at Jason, smiling. "He won't do that. Even if he does, he won't release his most advanced stuff. As for this battle suit against magicians... well, that could be a little troublesome. The main issue is that it flies."
"You're so confident he won't release it? Or, as you said, he just won't?" Jason pressed.
"Of course, let's wait and see."
Noah was confident. Tony had likely been influenced by Noah's words. After returning to the United States, the first thing he did was shut down Stark Industries' weapons department.
As for Tony's willingness to hand over his research later, it was largely because he believed he was going to die.
However, after his rescue, Tony's style remained shameless. He honored the spirit of the contract, but never provided his most advanced technology.
"Uh, are you two still here?" Just after Noah watched Tony display his power and then collapse onto the street, he closed the broadcast.
At that moment, Coulson suddenly ran over, his face full of embarrassment. He hadn't expected Noah and the others to still be standing there.
"Tony is fine, but he thought I was taking him to hell." Noah didn't have any issues; they weren't in their room, after all.
"Is that so?" Coulson's face turned even more embarrassed. He remembered how he and Noah had worked together to scare Tony.
Shaking his head, Coulson quickly recovered. "What about Tony? Didn't he come back with you?"
"No, he's probably playing in the desert now," Noah said, spreading his hands. "If he's lucky, he'll be found. You should contact your military friends."
"I understand, sir. By the way, this is..." Coulson nodded and then involuntarily glanced at Ethan, still sleeping on the bed.
"Ethan, the one who really saved Tony. You should take him back. It'll be easier for you to find Tony with him, right?"
After saying this, Noah opened the portal again.
Everything that needed to be seen had been seen, and Noah had no intention of staying in Afghanistan. This was just the beginning, and he had no plans to babysit Tony.
What Tony would face next wasn't dangerous. The opponents were the kind you'd encounter in a Novice Village.
To be honest, Noah was a bit jealous of Tony's good luck. When Noah was in his "Novice Village," the enemies giving experience weren't so simple.
But what was even more tragic was that Noah knew who the final boss was, and back then, Noah couldn't even defeat a Novice Village boss alone.
Luckily, Noah had eventually defeated Voldemort, the Novice Village boss. During the process, Noah mostly used magic to clean up the small fish.
"I'm acting as the commander of the game, and I even got equipment and experience?" Noah mused, stroking his chin. It felt good.
After returning to London, Noah dove into reviewing. To be honest, sometimes he regretted proposing the exams for wizards and magisters.
In the end, it turned out to be a trap for him. But thinking about it, Wong and Mordo had passed the magister exam—yes, those two were now seventh-level magicians.
They were much stronger than in the original timeline, both physically and magically.
Thanks to Noah's influence, these two had the most direct improvements. Dennis, too, had passed the wizard assessment.
Among the three major temples outside Kamar-Taj, the London Temple where Noah resided had the fewest people but the highest level of magicians.
The little ones Noah trained were progressing steadily. Even Elena had become a fifth-level first-tier magician.
Not long after Noah returned, his phone rang. It was a WeChat notification.
Noah glanced at it but kept reading. He had too many WeChat messages to go through.
But soon, his phone rang again. Thinking about it, Noah picked up the phone and started reading.
After all, there was plenty of time to read. Even at night, he could read in the system space.
As for WeChat, if he didn't check it now, some information might be outdated.
"I love studying, but I can't ignore my friends' messages."
Noah muttered silently, then opened his phone.
Noah was part of many groups: the Kamar-Taj Magic Exchange Group, the Hogwarts Teachers and Students Group, and the Ravenclaw Group. He'd even created a personal friend group.
This group contained members of the Mage Alliance as well as his relatives and friends. Noah had a complete circle of friends.
Some well-known names in the group included Professor Dumbledore, Wong , and even the Ancient One.
Thinking about it, Noah decided to check his friend group first since the Kamar-Taj group mostly discussed magic.
Many in the Hogwarts and Ravenclaw groups weren't people Noah knew personally.
When Noah opened the group, he immediately saw a notification in the lower-right corner: 999 unread messages. Noah couldn't help but think that these people were really good at chatting.
"I read books all day long, and you guys just chat? Is that really okay?"
So Noah quickly typed: You guys either work in the Ministry of Magic, study at Kamar-Taj, or at Hogwarts, and yet you chat all day long? Is that really okay?
As soon as Noah sent the message, the group went silent for about five seconds before Evan replied.
Then, as if someone had taken the lead, the others followed suit.
Evan: Please, some of what we talk about is work. Also, I give advice to the younger ones on vacation.
Lance: That's right. You're the most idle one. I noticed the last time I looked at your phone—all the unread messages were cleared.
Noah:
Hermione: I heard you were studying for the Magister exam? Damn, you're not even a Magister. How could you pass it?
Kate: Right, privileged people are different. I looked at my Magister certificate and suddenly felt sad. What do you think, Noah?
Noah:
What do you think?
I'm the one who proposed the exam, okay?
What's wrong with me taking the Magister exam directly?
Noah was furious. If I hadn't provided them with a library, could they have passed the Magister qualification exam?
He picked up his phone to respond, but just then, a message popped up on the screen. Noah nearly dropped his phone in shock.
Ancient One: Noah, are you being lazy?
