Training was entirely driven by personal passion—and Noah had taken that passion to the extreme.

Just like in his past life, he remembered hearing stories of people obsessed with fitness—like that one guy whose heart exploded, got a battery installed, and still continued training as though nothing had happened.

That guy was lucky. Later, he received a compatible heart transplant and no longer needed the battery.

Noah's obsession with physical training felt eerily similar. It was like choosing a support class in a game because you simply enjoy the role.

If only he had the special powers of that one cat—he'd jump into someone else's body just to exercise with them.

Noah had always aspired to be the spellcasting equivalent of a machine gun—smashing keys with his face and unleashing waves of magic—rather than a dual-wielding berserker charging into melee combat.

Naturally, this meant he was always the punching bag during close combat evaluations.

No matter who it was—even Ms. Haifin—everyone seemed capable of wiping the floor with him.

Especially guys like Wong and Mordo. They took training seriously. Mordo, in particular, was brutal.

Not out of malice or prejudice—he simply gave his all in every sparring match or practice drill.

But to his credit, Mordo was still kind. He apologized after every beatdown and even spent time training Noah one-on-one.

That was a far cry from Casillas—the man who had literally annihilated his entire family.

Though Casillas didn't personally hate Noah, he'd leave him crumpled on the ground every time without so much as a flicker of emotion.

"What a bastard," Noah muttered, rubbing his bruised cheek.

"Casillas is like that to everyone," Mordo replied flatly, while Wong applied a salve to Noah's injuries. "But you really are too weak."

Originally, it was supposed to be Ms. Haifin treating him, but she was far too busy now—busier than Noah, even. She didn't have the luxury of zoning out like he did.

Aside from daily training, she dedicated long hours to meditation. Her magical proficiency was still the lowest among the group.

"Ouch! Gently, man!" Noah winced. "Mordo, you know my dream is to become a magic machine gun!"

"But even a machine gun runs out of ammo. You need to build proper melee defense too."

"Okay, okay, I get it! Damn it... when the next magic duel comes around, I'll show him just how strong I've become!"

"I'm not trying to burst your bubble, Noah, but Casillas's magic level is no joke."

It really wasn't. Casillas had mastered space magic to an astonishing degree. He could casually warp everything in the Mirror Dimension.

Noah couldn't even begin to match that. And he knew that, eventually, Casillas would gain the power to bend real-world space as well.

Still, Noah wasn't worried.

So what if you're a master of space? I have elemental magic.

Space magic might be stronger in terms of weirdness and long-term potential. But right now? They were still growing. The mysteries of space magic weren't something easily mastered at this stage.

Elemental magic, on the other hand, might not have the same upper limit, but it was currently the most powerful type of magic available to them.

Casillas had never studied elemental magic—he was purely focused on close combat and spatial manipulation.

But Noah had never let go of elemental magic, even while learning space magic. In a real fight, he had no fear. With his current output, he could blow Casillas apart in a single volley.

During his time at Kamar-Taj, Noah spent his days seriously studying and practicing space magic.

But at night, during meditation, he entered his system space and practiced elemental magic—where time flowed four times faster. That was his secret weapon.

Occasionally, he would showcase what he learned from the system space in the real world—and it shocked even the Ancient One.

Of course, she was initially concerned that Noah might lose his way. But after thoroughly testing him, she found that his space magic was progressing just as well. That reassured her enough to let him continue down his chosen path.

"Alright, Noah. Less talking, more training," Mordo suddenly cut in.

The smile vanished from Noah's face. More physical training?

Dear God. Everyone knew how much Mordo loved physical drills. Didn't he want to spend some time reading for once?

Unfortunately, Noah didn't have a choice. Wong stepped in, grabbed him by the arm, and Noah knew then—he wasn't escaping.

"My God, I am a pure-blooded magic machine gun! And I'm already in great shape!"

"Not enough. You can't beat a single secret magician right now. How will you protect yourself on the battlefield?"

"I told you—I'm going for the magic machine gun build!"

"Which still requires stamina. Otherwise, you'll collapse just from spellcasting."

Time at Kamar-Taj flew by fast. Faster, even, than the days Noah had spent at Hogwarts.

To be fair, his progress was insane.

Even Mordo—who had sky-high standards—was spooked by how fast Noah was advancing.

In just six months, his magic abilities had improved dramatically.

Especially his elemental magic—it was terrifying. In magic assessments, Noah consistently topped the class.

Sure, some people were technically stronger than him. But when testing with him, they either suppressed their magic to match his level, or simply didn't challenge him.

Among high-level magicians, finding an opponent with similar strength was essential.

Noah's grasp of space magic was impressive, but what really drew attention was his elemental magic.

His performance made many magicians at Kamar-Taj realize just how overlooked elemental magic had been.

It wasn't as esoteric as space magic, but at this stage, its raw destructive power was unmatched.

More importantly, it seemed to solve problems more efficiently than space magic in many situations.

As a result, many magicians started dabbling in elemental magic themselves. The problem? Kamar-Taj's archives on it were sparse.

Space magic was their core discipline. Elemental magic? Considered basic and secondary.

So, when these magicians tried to study it, all they found were beginner texts. The more advanced stuff either didn't exist—or made no sense to them.

Still, Noah didn't hoard knowledge.

If anyone approached him with a question, he'd happily discuss it. His openness made the Ancient One even more satisfied and earned Noah a solid reputation among the magicians.

It wasn't just Noah who had been making progress—Ms. Haifin had improved as well.

Though still near the bottom in terms of skill, she had officially become a proper magician.

Considering she started from scratch, the amount of effort she must have put in was unimaginable.

Sometimes, Noah thought she was more suited to being a secret magician than he was.

Sure, Noah never skipped physical training, but only because it was mandatory. He was usually dragged off by Mordo and Wong for extra sessions.

Ms. Haifin was different. She pushed herself—exceeding her goals in every type of training.

Noah never asked her why. But when he finally did, her answer left him speechless.

"I've finally stepped into a new and unknown world. I've been given an opportunity most magicians would kill for. If I don't cherish it, I'm a fool.

Also… I want to catch up to you."

Well, that was fair.

She had received a rare opportunity—one that most magicians could only dream of.

But catching up to Noah?

Hard to say.

Noah's innate magic power was already absurd. And, well… he had a system.

Beyond Haifin, Noah also followed the Ancient One's suggestion and began teaching Nagini a bit of magic.

And—surprise, surprise—Nagini had talent.

More importantly, she didn't need any physical training. Her physical capabilities were already monstrous.

"So I'm the weakest one physically now?" Noah groaned.

That realization made his stomach churn. For the first time, he even considered using the damn Blood of the Undead and fusing it with Nagini's blood.

But after mulling it over, he ultimately rejected the idea.

He had better options. Why force himself to become a snake?

He was a Ravenclaw—not a Slytherin!

Even if he had joined Slytherin and learned Animagus magic, there's no way he'd choose a snake form. That just wasn't cool.

"Looks like I have no choice… I'll just have to keep training.

And wait patiently for an amnesiac woman to fall from the sky—or for the God of Thunder to be banished to Earth."
