The third flood peak of the Yangtze River reached Hanwu today and will arrive at Binjiang in three days.
According to the flood situation report from the Provincial Defense Command, this flood peak is more ferocious than the previous two.
Despite having confidence in the Yangtze River levee at Binjiang, Secretary Lu still rushed to the City Flood Control Command set up at the Water Resources Bureau to listen to reports and guide all districts, counties, and units in the city to confront the impending flood peak.
Flood fighting is now the top priority, and several Vice Mayors each need to take responsibility for one district or county.
Vice Mayor Qin is responsible for Chonggang District, and after reporting the flood control work in the development zone, he follows the schedule formulated by the City Committee Office, goes downstairs, and accompanies Secretary Lu for a field inspection.
The first stop is Chonggang District.
