Chapter 37: Ning'er's Present
Tang Feng smiled and handed it over to Luo Ning who reluctantly took it.
"It's the present I promised Ning'er," he said, a warm smile on his lips.
Luo Ning looked at the egg and at Tang Feng, and was about to ask what was inside the egg when it suddenly began cracking, each cracked part falling off and revealing a part of the creature within. When the eggshells all fell off, it revealed a baby red dragon, the size of Luo Ning's palm.
Luo Ning's eyes glittered and she excitedly looked to her brother.
"Thank you Ge'ge, I love it," she said, her gaze turning back to the dragon who sneezed, releasing fire from its nostrils. It looked at Luo Ning and both of them felt a surge of electricity flow through them, connecting their souls to each other.
Su Yan noticed this and told Tang Feng about it.
"Will it harm Ning'er?" he asked, worried his gift would turn out to be dangerous.
