The battle on the other fronts continues without many complications for a while, with the undead being totally dominated, who have great difficulties facing the small army in that formation, but this undead army, although certainly weaker than the others, is still formidable.
It is noticeable that it is well-prepared since not only are those banners increasing their strength, resistance, speed and more, but behind they bring out 4 energy cannons. Lamira, Caroline, and Freja are extremely surprised when they see this. Where the hell can an undead get an energy cannon?
The cannons quickly charge with energy stones and soon fire, releasing a loud sound, BOOOOOOOOM, at extreme speed the energy shot heads toward the stacked formations and impacts them, causing the transparent barriers to vibrate enormously and killing some of their undead.
Caroline smiles ironically and says: "This is crazy, who the hell wants to kill so strongly to have expensive cannons? A baby of those costs about 25 platinum coins each, and that only gives you the worst quality one."
Freja on the other side bites her lips and says: "These damn undead…"
Lamira, on the other hand, only frowns and orders her subordinates to stay inside the formation. An energy cannon is no joke; they are one of the few energy weapons that, despite being of lower quality level, can injure beings of higher grades or even realms.

While this occurs in Mariane's battle, the Lich begins to truly use all his strength. His sword handling is very good, of an extremely high level for this world. Each cut from his sword leaves almost no room for her to dodge.
But she notices something very strange, because such a high level of sword skill should have sword intent and sword aura, but it has none. Then she understands everything and smiles: "I see, you are a sword expert whose soul was used to create this Lich, you were not originally a mage."

Mariane laughs while ducking to dodge a cut: "Hahahaha, I must admit you are strong and good at what you do, but I have seen better sword cultivators. Immediately she changes her combat style. Instead of going with raw power and attacking, at every crack caused by the numerous sword cuts of the Lich and the ice cones he occasionally summons, she attacks with an Emerald Impact from the emerald dragon with her fists and kicks.
It is a very effective harassment tactic, since the impact power is too strong. Not for nothing, this is a signature technique of her master; not even those in his temple could use this version. They had to settle for Emerald Impact, the simplified version, although in reality the full technique requires carrying her master's blood.
This harassment makes the Lich stagger back. She jumps quickly and this time, saying: "With this claw I will destroy planets and stars, with this claw galaxies and clusters will collapse, a power that devastates anything that threatens this universe, I am the protector of the universe and my master's weapon, I will bring his judgment to those fools who challenge him!, Claw of the Emerald-Golden Dragon!"
At that moment, a great dragon claw appears, initially clear and semi-transparent, clearly made of energy, but after a while it becomes increasingly realistic. Those emerald scales on top and golden scales on the bottom give it an aura of divinity, magnificent and imposing, almost as if a god himself descends.
The Lich feels a great threat and using all his strength quickly says: "I swear by the heavens, there will never be anything my sword cannot cut!, Sword of the King of Swords!" Soon the Lich's sword shines with a silver glow, illuminating the dark night, and then a silver slash launches toward the claw.
Then finally the claw and the slash meet. The slash, which is quite impressive to the point of killing the entire Lich elite guard directly, makes every effort to also split this claw, but the powerful claw does not stop its momentum and pierces through it with pure power as if nothing.
Only to end up grabbing the Lich. The Lich, terrified for his life, screams: "No, how is this possible, I am the king of the sword, I am the king of the sword!, My lord, you promised me, that you would help me take revenge and let me regain my power again!, Please, please help me!"
But nothing happens. The claw holds the Lich so tightly, tearing his entire body into small fragments. A small glow points to Mariane where the phylactery is, and without hesitation, she points in that direction with one of her fingers, saying: "Spatial Piercer."
A purple line shoots from her fingers, passing through trees and rocks as if it were effortless, and soon it impacts a small glass vial that shatters instantly.
Upon confirming the Lich's death, Mariane nods and says: "Do you think I am an idiot and do not know that Liches have a phylactery?"
Then she sees the undead army begin to disintegrate slowly. This is another weakness of necromantic magic or other forms that imitate the necromancy ability, as these forms or paths only imitate its effects and are not capable of creating undead energy.
Unlike undead naturally produced in nature or by the necromancy ability, which directly creates the undead core with that energy, in short, undead that are not naturally produced or by a necromancy holder are not only weaker but also cannot sustain themselves and need their lord to continue existing.
Mariane, looking at this, is unusually calm and frowning. She has not suffered any wounds and it was an easy fight, since the Lich underestimated her too much in his arrogance. But she is not worried about that; she is concerned for her master, who is currently weaker than her and is going alone with another person.

On the other three sides of the battlefield, Caroline watches with some happiness as the undead around her disintegrate and smiles, saying to the two soldiers: "Alright, we take no damage, and on top of that, we got four deadly quality level 4 energy cannons for free. This is wonderful; with this cannon even hurting an Ascending Realm being is not a dream."
On Freja's side, she cannot resist running, ignoring the undead, to take the cannon and store it in her spatial ring. She is sure she will be rewarded by Feicui Long for this; just thinking about it makes her happy, ignoring that they had an argument not long ago about their goddess.
Lamira does not stay still either; she orders her subordinate with the crossbow to cover her and carries the other, jumping across the field to take the cannon. Bringing these things would be extremely good, although the village is extremely secure due to the formation. These cannons could be used to set up a fortress in this forest or even as siege weapons.
Knowing that her lord will fight in the war against the county of Krötenheim to help in the revenge of the Skylion barony, these cannons could serve them greatly in that task to destroy the walls of a city.

While everyone is organizing everything on Mariane's side, in other parts of the forest battles erupt. The barony's army is clearing the undead because yes, they encounter more undead.
Specifically, with four Liches separately, each having a terrifying total of 15,000 troops combined. Luckily, the vast majority, 70% to 75%, are minor ants in the elemental realm, added to the fact that the barony's weapons are all made of sky steel, plus the fact that they are 2,500 troops well-equipped, all with artifact gear including armor.
Not to forget, of course, the presence of Mylene and some of the Lion of the Sky guard, who are all in the terrestrial palace realm. It is a complete one-sided massacre both in attribute, as well as in quality and power level.
Even so, Mylene frowns very hard and says to herself: "Who the hell do they want to kill so strongly as to send so many undead?"
After that she sigh and go to sleep, the day finally is over and she can rest safe for now.
