[ Chapter VII (7): "3 DAYS LATER & THE CREATION OF THE GARDEN" ]

[ "This is actually a lucrative business..." ]

Arthur mutters to himself as he watches the Players in the screen socialize, some planting and taking care of their Plants, while some are just basking in the air around them. Chilling.

In comparison to Arthur which seems to be stucked in a crammed house, filled to the brim with trash, it is like night and day. Causing him to slightly envy his Players, but also be happy for them.

As Plants left-and-right manuever around, without seemingly being stuck to the soil. As per example the Lvl. 2 Plants which are as small as an adult cat, but smarter than a said cat, and more happier in life. Walking around the Lobby.

The Lvl. 3 Plants on the other hand, the highest Lvl at the moment, they could be seen also walking around using their grass-like legs, except for the Wallnuts. They jump around, or get carried by their Players— Gardeners as they call themselves, which Arthur agrees in.

Some Lvl. 1 Plants are still firmly planted on the ground, but in comparison to the last two groups, they are far and less in-between, only about 16 of them are Lvl. 1 out of the 90 Plants given to all the 15 Players to share. This is caused by conflicts in life, wherein the Player would have a busy schedule in real-life, needing to wake-up and not stay in the game for that long.

Or be rudely interrupted causing their Character to be ejected out of the game. A feature that Arthur loves seeing, especially because the Player just disappears out of thin air, swallowed by the System's iconic blue light... It is fun. [ "I'm... I'm rich!" ]

[ ... ]

He glanced at the onslaught of Credits rolling in front of his eyes, the notification having blown up his ears a day prior, making him turn off his most favorite noise of them all— the sound of Credits rolling in. He couldn't help but wonder, how the hell is he getting Credits for petty reasons?

That one just literally says, "THE SUN IS HAPPY" or, "THE WALLNUT IS SMILING" or, or, "THE PEASHOOTER IS SLEEPING." Sentient Plants do sleep?

At the moment he wonders, is he catering to the Players or is he catering to the Plants? Because he doesn't know which-is-which. The description of his Developer Class says, this, "To entertain Players, innovate technology, and bring imagination to life." First part of that, "To entertain the Players." So what is what?!

At the moment, he doesn't know. But he does like not dying, not fighting, and not killing any Samurai or rebel Knights inside the Game he spent all his starter income too. So that's nice, except for the Vikings, he loves killing them, no exception.

So he sights to himself, lean back, and open his System Shop as he continues scrolling on that. His computer open, an Iron Golem Farm in front of him, as they all burn in lava, staring at the face of his character's emotionless smiling face.

Thank christ he didn't pick Minecraft as his starting Gane, he doesn't want to torture sentient Iron Golem NPCs in that, or even trap Villagers, forcing them to breed a clan of 1,000 plus for him, then slave them away making an automated wheet, carrot, potatoes, and beetroot farm...

Though he doesn't have any qualms in doing that, if it is done in his computer, just not in life-life game wherein everything is sentient to the point that they have families, histories, and cultures.

Not caring about the Iron Golems suffering and injustice anymore, he glanced at his Lobby which is now filled to the brim with dirt, mess, and overflow of people and plants. Some actually falling off to space, but thankfully he thought of that fact and added a code, that if they jump down, then they'll just reappear from above.

The fall damage in this realm? Turned off, no friendly fire, no damage; they can shoot themselves in the head and it wouldn't hurt, they couldn't feel pain there, but they do can feel pleasure. Like eating sweets, or drinking soft drinks for example.

He codded some of that for equal exchange of Credits, but some he didn't, like for example the fact that they can't die, he didn't code that. But what funny is that, he codded most of the things when the Plants appeared, they have no self preservation or whatsoever;

A Wallnut jumped off the Lobby, so he codded that teleportation aspect, now they do it actively without care. A Peashooter shot one of the Players for fun, though it didn't hurt that much, the Player still felt pain, so Arthur like a God codded for them to not get hurt.

You see what I mean, these things are monsters in disguise. They are like orange cats, but at the very least most people know that they are evil, in this case, the Players doesn't know the Plants are evil.

Which is why, Arthur hadn't sprouted his 10 seed yet, or did he buy more seeds, he is still a few about hundreds Credits short to buy more seeds. But, he could at the very least create more space inside the Lobby, to make it less overcrowded.

Is the Lobby really that overcrowded? He glanced at the Lobby and noticed that yes, it is Overcrowded, even the Spawn Area has dirt scattered on about due to the Plants playing in the dirt so much, scattering it. [ "I need to fix this." ]

He really need to fix this. So parting ways with his accumulated Credits, he then created a smaller platform, on the left of the platform wherein the Players and that giant pile of dirt is placed about.

It appeared in real-time, shocking the Players which pointed at it in dismay, some shock, but others not. Arthur who's focused on building didn't seem to mind this, as he continues going. In this smaller platform he created a spacious enough space for the Plants and Players to play around in.

He created a playground for the Plants, a garden, he then filled it with dirt, placed a waterfall and things that the Plants would enjoy. After doing that, he created some things that is friendly with the environment, for Players to lay in and interact.

Due to limitations in Credits, this is the best Arthur could do. He watches as his Credits— about 4,000 disappear in one-go, leaving only 1,000 in it's wake. So before it could leave completely, he created for the Plants a miniscale sun that they could bathe in.

Especially because most of the notifications is about them basking in the sun. In the sun of this place, which is a million of miles away, he still couldn't even believe that there's a sun when he bought a weather pack, but at the very least thanks to that, he could entertain his Plants. In which he is apparently catering too.

He felt pain seep into his chest, as he watches all of his money disappear. Especially because he is a greedy person, he wants to horde it, horde those sum and finally upgrade his computer. For it to finally get in contact with the people on the other side of the computer.

He doesn't know if it's connected to the DC Earth, or back to his original Earth, but he still wants to connect with them. But that needs to apparently wait, as a small side of Arthur wants to invest back to the Players of his, and also to the Plants... Which are babies, but also evil.

So sighting to himself, he continues watching the videofeed of his Players interacting with the new platform he made, plus the Plants which seems to love it. And to his wallet which is nearly empty to his right... But thankfully it is recovering by the seconds, hopefully, if not, then he'll blow everything up... In Creative World Minecraft that is.

...

[ "Where am I? Who am I? What am I?!!" ] Felix Harp also known as Player No. 4 couldn't believe his eyes. Since about 4 days ago, or was it 5? Doesn't matter, since he clicked that mysterious notification about him winning a house and lot or something, his world changed. No, literally, it did.

At first he thought it was a scam thing, especially when the app downloaded itself without his permission. He thought his phone got hacked... Again. But to his surprise, his subconscious, or what makes up his soul, was sucked in the app.

Then was spit out inside a realm that he does know off. In space apparently, as he wears a jumpsuit; not just him, about 14 others was in the same predicament as him.

After some time, he got along with them, but in needing to get back to work, he reluctantly get off the game... Surprisingly for the nth time, he felt refresh, his problem sleeping apparently having gone away due to the game.

So thanks to that, he felt refresh and thankful to whoever created the game, or, whoever owns that realm for allowing him to enter it when he can. But due to having a family— a mother, a father, a younger sister and a younger brother that relies on him back home, he reluctantly works the 9-5 underpayed, overworking job that he has. Plus that one side gig he does.

But now with the safety net of being able to log in and sleep comfortably, socialize in that mysterious realm that has... Sentient Plants apparently, he felt comfort.

Unlike the other Players, he plays the UTOPIA game less, active less, so some of his Plants are still Lvl. 1, with few having not sprouted yet due to him not watering them. In effect, he is one of those Players that hasn't seen the miracle of the Creator yet.

Until today, when a platform suddenly appeared without prompt, the realm that he thought was stagnant, apparently not, having then the Creator of it create something. Which under his surprise eyes, a new land, one with waterfall overflowing, dripping down the void with no end in sight.

A hospitable environment for the Plants, and for them to enjoy in. [ "Wow..." ] He widens his eyes, as the other Player rushed in to see the new place. The Plants also, the ones that could walk, thus who couldn't, get carried by their respective Players.

He glance at his Plants, 4 of them, a Peashooter, 2 Wallnut, and a Sunflower. All locking at him with a smile, wanting for them to be carried inside the promise land.

[ "You guys... want too?" ] He questioned, making sure. The Plants, thankfully in being able to understand him, nodded their heads, as if saying, "Yes, definitely, now take us with you." Sadly the implanted translator that each Player has only works amongst themselves, so he couldn't hear that coming from his Plants.

[ "Alright-alright, let's go." ] But still, he could understand partially due to their body movement which is impatient to the extreme, making noise saying that they want to go in there. So carrying them all in his arms, plus the soil they are planted in, he went to the new land— Land of the Plants, or the Garden.

Due to carrying the Plants in his arms, he could only bit on his bronze watering can, which doesn't taste that good compared to that small bit of cookie that he tasted from his friend— Mr. Allen. [ "Lez goh!" ]
