As Bael had promised, early the next morning, a void gate appeared in the sky above the center of Bael's citadel, filled with chaotic darkness interwoven with light. This was the gate leading to Chaosland. Moreover, only Silvanus's group—those who had received Bael's permission—could step through this gate.
Bael used his sleeve to wipe away his tears, calling out repeatedly with a deeply moved expression, "Is it really unnecessary for my army to accompany you all?"
Silvanus said nothing, merely waved his hand, then flew toward the gate. Below, the sound of gongs and drums rose once more. Bael spread open his fan and danced a farewell for the heroes of he, and there even seemed to be drifting singing voices fading into the distance—but no matter how hard one tried to listen, nothing could be heard clearly, as if everything were nothing more than an illusion.
